Roman rhizom project
Preparing to learn Roman Capitals with my Calligraphy dip pen. It looks so much more difficult with all those serifs. But I can do it! I believe in me!
I haven't been participating in #callivember2017, but today's word seemed like a good one for practicing brush romans. 😊 I blew the "O" and I need to work on balancing my line weights... and my spacing... but all in all not so bad. You can see the full real time recording on my YouTube (https://youtu.be/h95F5kkDgQc). Backing track is Olympic Canal Tracts off of the Hood Canal album by Missing Vwls
Any Roman Lovers???
Play & ENJOY!!!
For calligraphy: "What is a Greek? Is that a type of cheese?" - a very confused Imperial
Not certain about cheese, but I think they're a type of yogurt?
I thought about it, and decided the best font for this one would be Roman Capitals! However, I've never done this font before, so it's a little shaky. From what I could find, this style is supposed to be done with a brush, not a broad pen, so I gave it my best hack. Feedback welcome- should I try to add this font to my set?
Also, @volumina-vetustiora , I would love the latin for this, pretty please?
