so, burn away is officially 5 years old today
its surreal to think about how much of my life i’ve now spent making this comic and being involved in nuzlockes... half a decade, man ;;__;; there’ve been so many ups and downs and i’m definitely a lot different from the girl who sat down in 2016 to try drawing a comic, but... im just really glad i started this and stuck with it. thank you so so so much to everyone of you who reads, comments, sends messages, makes fanart, or just hangs out with me!! its truly been a wonderful and overwhelming experience. <3
anyway, burn away has been long overdue for a new cover, so i finally made one to celebrate!
Hello!! Ive been a fan of Burn Away for a long time now (you may remember me from the small dancing Abella and Edie animation I did a long while back qwq). When I saw that the comic had come off hiatus, I was so happy that I wanted to make something to celebrate its return!! I decided to try my hand at making the Burn Away cast into Animal Crossing villagers, as I remembered seeing you answer what they would be a while back. I’ve never played Animal Crossing myself, so I apologize for any inconsistencies in size or designs. It was really fun translating their designs from one series to another, and I hope I was able to do them justice!! As always, thank you for crafting such an incredible narrative. :’)
