I keep forgetting I started this silly little sort-of blog on Valentine’s Day until tumblr reminds me. I’ve actually been hanging around here 3 years now!! That’s kind of hard to believe! Thanks to all of you people who follow this nonsense of mine. I think you’re all pretty wonderful.

Anyway, I started this thing on a Valentine’s Day when my husband was out of town. As he is IN TOWN now, I suppose I’ll get off here, leave the rest of the headcanons for another time, and go snuggle up to him and pretend that we make a big deal out of this particular little holiday, LOL!

Here’s how we’ve celebrated so far: We’ve harrassed our fifteen year old about doing all the AP homework he hadn’t done, I’ve done three loads of laundry for the eighteen year old while my husband checked the tires on his car and gave him an intense driving lecture because he had to get back to school and it’s snowing (he’s made it there safely--he forgot to text me, but at least responded when I texted him!), I did two hours worth of work for my office, he paid all our bills and fed the horses. He’s now watching TV with our twenty-one year old (who was up north seeing his girlfriend this weekend--they still make a whole WEEKEND out of Valentine’s Day because they haven’t been through twenty-five of them together yet, LOL!) He’s decided to spend the night here and go on south back to school tomorrow because he doesn’t have class until the evening.

So, romance is not really in the cards this evening, but speaking of cards, my love did get me a very nice one along with some Dove chocolates and chocolate covered strawberries, so I suppose we can at least can snuggle up on the couch and feed each other some of those chocolates until we make Son Number One roll his eyes a bit!
