• That’s why I tell... • • Okay hi! I haven’t talked about the new episode yet, so ⚠️HERE IS YOUR HECKIN SPOILER WARNING⚠️ • Okay. 1. I love the name Janus. I heard that it *is* in fact partly based on the Roman god Janus, god of duality, beginnings, and endings. 2. I want to punch Roman in the fact and give him a giant hug simultaneously. It clearly took a lot for Janus to consider revealing his name and he laughed! Lowkey also what I think would have happened with Virgil if Roman hadn’t seen how important he is to Thomas. By the same token, I want to give my son a giant hug. I truly hope he’s going to be okay. 3. The whole thing was truly amazing, and I am SO excited to see what comes next. Maybe we’ll see who fills that empty fuckin slot in the thumbnail? Lookin at you, Sanders 👀. • I’m genuinely amazed at how this team manages to come up with such brilliant things. The amount of hard work and creativity (ha) but into this series is phenomenal. • The first video is literally a list of, what I find to be, the biggest lie each side has told. They may believe the lie, or refuse to accept anything else, but they’re lies. It also took me 7 hours to complete filming and editing, so I am typing this at 2am. • The last video is a dance that was made by @your.dilemma, who is amazing and so talented! • On the Borderline - a short cover • • • • One last tribute to the person who has changed my life forever in the best of ways. This song really has always resonated with me, and this last part always reminds me that I am moving forward. Things will get better. I will get better. A fusion of Roman and I sang this. • It Isn’t In My Blood • • • • I’ve noticed that Roman is going through an incredible journey inside himself that I can relate to on so many levels. I have always seen a lot of myself in Roman, and sometimes I am 100% him that I scare myself. He is the most fun character to play for me because I feel like my own person is shining through him. I’m loud, I’m obnoxious, I’m annoying sometimes. I love singing, and acting, and dancing, and just being on stage! Disney has formed my entire childhood! Roman is the side I relate to the most and for obvious reasons, both good and less good. I doubt myself so much that I avoid doing things to make sure it’s not criticized or made fun of. These characters and the amazing support I’ve found from @thomassanders community has helped me grow and change and evolve. I have never met someone so insanely accepting and genuinely kind as Thomas, and his fan base is proof of his heart of gold. I have made so many friends and so many memories because this one person that dresses up at seperate parts of himself and acts in front of a camera brought us together in a safe place where we can be who we want to be. This series and these characters have opened doors for me and given me fun opportunities, and I’ve found an amazing new way to express myself. We are a famILY and I will be a part of it until the day I die. Love you. •That was a mixed metaphor, I’m sorry... I’m not thinking... straight. Ever. I’m not straight!• • Me? Get my braces off after six and a half years? Then immediately cosplay as the birthday boy? And take dumb as hell pictures? Then post them a day late because I’m stupid? Nah. Wrong person. • • • So 1. HOLY SHIT MY BRACES ARE OFF I AM LIVING 2. Roman had a birthday yesterday so I decided to become even gayer and cosplay him, tiara and all, with (one of my) my new pride flag(s)! If I had to give myself a percentage of which sides I relate to the most, it would easily be 95% Roman and the others make up the last 5%. He is a dramatic bitch and that is me! I am so grateful that he exists. First of all, he is creativity, and my entire life has been a never ending list of creative outlets I’ve had and accomplishments I’ve made. He has shown so much growth through the series and is showing a lot of vulnerability at the moment. I have so much trouble admitting when I need help or when I’m not doing okay. I try to push through whatever it is and let my emotional needs take a back seat. I feel the pull to be everyone else’s hero but won’t let myself be saved. Roman has helped me move forward from past traumas in so many silly ways, and has given me a vision for my future as a creator, which I didn’t see a future for myself at all until I discovered this famILY. Roman has shown me that it’s okay to learn and change your ways. He shows me that it’s okay to not be perfect at absolutely everything I set out to do. He shows me that being vulnerable doesn’t make me less of a good person, or any less of a strong person. So happy birthday, you giant doofus of a character. Hi so apparently @thomassanders thought this was sweet and tweeted that to me so I figured I’d share it here? I was thinking of my partner filming this so if I look like a smitten fool its because I am and I am unashamed if it. They truly deserve the world and more. I just wish I had waited to film this because I highkey hate it 😅 I filmed this at 2am, the harmony is still weird because I suck at harmonies for whatever reason, I’m overtired and anxious, and I did so many takes because none of them felt good enough to post and this one really was the best take and yeah.
