This delicious grilled cheese sandwich with Cabot Creamery sharp cheddar will make your romantic evening even better. The smell of garlic and rosemary together will wake up your taste buds and make your meal memorable.
Ingredients: 2 slices of artisanal bread. 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. 4 ounces of Cabot Creamery sharp cheddar cheese, thinly sliced. 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon of dried rosemary. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Put some butter on one side of every piece of bread. Put the cheese slices on one slice of bread that hasn't been buttered yet. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried rosemary to the cheese. Put the other piece of bread on top, buttered side out. Put the pan or griddle on medium-low heat. Place the sandwich carefully on the pan and cook for three to four minutes on each side, until the bread turns golden brown and the cheese starts to melt. While it's cooking, use a spatula to gently press down on the top to help melt the cheese and get a crispy crust. Take the sandwich out of the pan, let it cool for a minute, and then cut it in half or four to share. Loved ones, enjoy your hot grilled cheese!
