Tl;dr life is shitty but okay; donate menstrual products to those in need. So... the tale begins. The tile and floor team finally started with the bathroom. A few weeks behind schedule and two more days behind specifically on this, we expected them monday morning. Anyway, exam lesson tomorrow with kids I haven't seen for a few less weeks than the bathroom hell has been going on, but yeah, I think it'll work out. While not having any use of the bathroom at all, my uterus doesn't give any fucks at all and reenacting the elevator from The Shining in my downstairs department. Nearest communal toilet is two houses away. I can't even pee on the lawn, so this is worse than hiking, larping, camping, even just being drunk would be better! Basically anything outdoorsy with a thicket of privacy and a bottle of water, but noooo, so I'll just what - plop in my cup and hope there's a decent sink wherever I gotta run. Before we took the toilet out, I was super reluctant at the thought of having to run to the kitchen with emergency pad squeezed between my thighs, wash hands, wash cup, put in cup, wash hands, pants around my ankles and what - the fucking building dudes show up? And now! Work tomorrow morning and not being able to pee at home IN THE MORNING fucks everything right up again. 🎶The rant goes ever on and on, up to the point where 🎶...I held my bladder to the point of needing help getting off the sofa since my bladder pokes fun at my pelvic pain, and the uterus is happy to join the party, and the colon...I don't even wanna talk about the colon. Such a fucking asshole. A great privilege, though, my cynicism and my somewhat dark appreciation of irony! Privilege 2: Valium Privilege 3: There wiLL BE A BATHROOM. My experimental menstrual rage camp is temporary. I just...yeah. Menstrual health is crucial, so don't feel bad for me - go give pads and tampons, diapers/nappies (adult and baby) and wet wipes to your local homeless people!
