“Ring of Homing” An unimpressive old nail curled in a circle to create a makeshift ring. You may designate an object or being as your “home” and the ring will grow warmer and warmer the closer you are to that object or being. To designate something as “home” you must touch them and recite: “This be sanctuary” and the ring will burn once in acknowledgement. The binding cannot be undone so be sure that whatever, or whomever, you designate as “home” truly is. This ring does not grow frigid with great distances, only warm with proximity.

A Little Gift for Pyrope

“I’ll be honest, this one took a bit of thought. What do you get a woman who has it all? All in this case being a whole suitcase full of emotional and mental baggage, with some added violent tendencies for flavor. My first thought was therapy, but we don’t sell that here. So, I went with my second thought. A knife. Enjoy!”

The note included reads:

“The Iron flower

This small, simple red hair comb is unassuming at first glance, and decorated with tiny delicate flowers around the edge. It’s perfect for stowing away in a small purse or bag, or to be worn as a hair ornament. As an action, the wearer of this comb can turn it into an iron dagger. The dagger’s hilt is the same red color as the comb, with the same flowers carved along it.”

“The Movable Rod”

You’ve heard of the Immovable Rod, but now get ready for it’s less famous predecessor, the Movable Rod. This one foot long piece of cylindrical metal has a button on one end that, when pressed, will fix the rod in whatever space you set it until the button is pressed a second time. However, unlike the Immovable Rod, this rod twirls in place as if being spun by a talented baton twirler as soon as the button is pressed. It can not be moved or stopped from twirling with anything less than a DC 30 Strength check.

A simple silver band, this ring appears mundane and unassuming at first. However, when placed upon your finger it hums with an electric magic. Three times per day while wearing this ring, you can shake another being’s hand and choose to send a small shock through the ring. This causes exactly 1d1 lightning damage to the target.
