ok so im pretty sad abt ray leaving, but it kinda sucks that its today because i had a rlly good day

a couple weeks ago i applied for a study abroad program in rome and it was a super expensive long shot but i got accepted yesterday?! and it still wasnt official because i dont have 28k lying around to pay for it... then today i got a scholarship for 26k??????? which is absolutely ridiculous and amazing. so as long as i can get credit and my visa checks out and all the logistical stuff- im gonna be living in rome for three whole months next fall. i am completely stunned and amazed

. 

when i called my mom we were both basically crying about it. and its kind of a scary time to leave because shes so sick, but theres no way she would let me skip out on this opportunity for her. 

basically i had a really great day and i have an amazing opportunity to study rome while in rome (and have it all be paid for??? bc tbh thats the hardest thing) 

but now this ray thing and im so sad about that??  idk i just needed to rant a little

I had to write this paper on following directions for class and I didn't feel like it so it's basically just a bunch of ramblings from my half asleep mind. I think I started taking about Ancient Rome and cracked car windshields.
