The fact that Ron DeSantis hasn't been hounded out of the Florida statehouse with torches and pitchforks for saying slavery was 'beneficial' to slaves shows how far we've fallen, as a nation. It shows how far those rightwingnuts have dragged us all down to the sewer with them. We have 'normalized' this cruel insanity.

Chewy Inc. (online pet retailer)

Darden Restaurants (Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, others)

Hertz (Car rentals)

National Beverage (soft drink producer - notably La Croix and Faygo)

Office Depot (office supply store)

Publix (grocery store chain)

Restaurant Brands International (the American restaurants - Burger King, Firehouse Subs, Popeyes)

Winn-Dixie (grocery store chain)

There are others, and some of these are more common in the southeastern USA (notably Publix & Winn Dixie), but if you can avoid buying from these brands, please consider doing so!

DISCLAIMER: The key words are IF you CAN avoid. Please don't feel guilty if there are necessities that you can only get from certain businesses, like pet medications through Chewy, or the only grocery store in reasonable distance happens to be Publix.

This is outright enraging and shows how desperate Ron Desantis and Florida Republicans are to completely ban abortion. The measure to enshrine abortion rights into the State's constitution is popular and like in all other 10 states will pass, so Republicans have been using every trick they can from striking the measures to shaping the language to blatantly favour the anti-abortion view of the issue. Do not be deluded people Republicans will not stop until abortion is fully and completely banned with no exceptions, they do not care as they view themselves as the absolute good and arbiter of goodness. I urge everyone who can to vote for the measure if it's in your state and to vote Democrat if you can't. Republicans like Ronny will strip all women of their autonomy if we simply let it happen, are we going to let that happen or are we going to fight these monsters on the ballot and in our streets if push comes to shove?
