inso !! i really loved last chapter, not even just for the heated parts but the small background details abt MC and her thoughts/feelings about this new side of chan 🫣
but yes obv this possessive behavior from him is both hot as hell and i’m loving it but it’s a little concerning when i think abt how much MC hates this kind of behavior (at least from other people)
ugh anyway i’m so excited for next week’s chapter and to see how this all plays out ^^

I'll be the first to say I WAS WRONG ABOUT THE PREVIEW.
Chan's behaviour here...kind of a red flag like a GLARING ONE HOLY SHIT...Possesive Alpha, talking about basically wanting to keep MC all to himself, to not share and only let him have access.
Fuck me....MC DONT LIKE THAT BEHAVIOUR, NO BAD! This possesive streak is bad..now if it had some lore behind it like 'soulmates being separated for too long will make both their instincts louder and harder to controll' I'd get it more but otherwise CHANNIE NEEDS TO CHILLLL
Let's be honest though...MC clearly loves the colour red hahaha. She got turned on by the possesiveness...matter of fact it might be the ONLY language she still knows how to understand from her pack, as sad as that observation may be.
I mentioned magnet pull last ask didn't I? Maybe I didn't...they feel like THAT. The whole pack plus MC. Just magnets constantly attracting the other.
I don't mind Chan being a lil possesive. We can have it as a treat! However I think the amount of it is the red flag. I feel like his pack keeps that at bay well though but I bet with MC running away and also (even if not intended) hurting his packmembers...that protectiveness would flare.
Welp 'getting over someone by getting under them' didnt work but so far she is getting fun encounters from it, thats for sure!! I just...i want some fluffy magnet pulls too, sweet lovely Inso.
Like for instance. Felix meeting her in the mall and taking her to a local bakery. Or like Innie taking her shopping!
I know eventually we will also get fluff. I can tell our tone has shifted. They WILL come together again..neither can stay away. Not out of the mines but we're definitely on our way back up from the deep dark basement!
One last huzzah. HUZZAH TO MC FOR STILL LETTING CHAN IN!! I think progression in stories has more to do with what's fun and exciting than what's right! If MC was your friend irl then I too would be like girl run. But RON follows romance genre conventions more than anything else, so I didn't think this would be toooo surprising 😊 Honestly I think RON!Chan is always like this a little bit, and I think there have been moments in the past where he would have really wanted to be more open about it. He does usually successfully tamp it down, but the thing itself still lingers. He's very possessive! And VERY protective, which is not helping matters at all here. From his pov she met some random alpha guy in the last month or so and is now inviting him into her home, which in it of itself is a bit taboo between alpha/omega LOL (Chan you are literally in her house RIGHT NOW.... whatever)
MC does like it though... For better or worse this is getting through to her 😭
(This gets mentioned here and there but there are also the in-universe scent cues to consider! This is still crazy behavior. But if MC was upset or scared it would show, and Chan would back off. Our MC has a bad nose and she misses a lot, but scent is a major method of communication for everyone else!)
Haha the fluff will come~~ We've had plenty of it already and we'll have it again!
Ohh if it's totally a surprise... 🤔 I think a lot of them would be constricted by the urge to text her, even if it wasn't very far in advance, and try to get her to agree... and then I think some of the others aren't as spontaneous, or can be a little passive. Maybe Lino? 🤔🤔
