random ronance headcanon where even though they’re in their 20s, robin is the one that’s really good at sneaking into nancy’s window. even though she isn’t the most graceful on her feet all of the time, she is excellent at sneaking into nancy’s windows. she’s almost silent. it’s amazing.

nancy on the other hand, quick and poised with her instincts and journalistic tendencies, can’t climb into robin’s window for shit.

she tries to do it one day, for no particular reason either. the buckley’s love her, she could easily knock on the front door at any time of day and she would be welcomed inside, no questions asked. but sneaking in through someone’s window is a rite of passage, right? even if she is 22.

nancy comes over one night and doesn’t even really know how to begin. it looks so much easier in the movies. she tries awkwardly attaching herself to the buckley’s rain gutter, but all it does is loudly creak under the pressure of her grip.

20 minutes later, robin finds nancy half sprawled across the decorative awning above her front door, and her roof. robin laughs so hard, nancy almost has to fend for herself.
