also what i find so weird about the 'if you love kavinsky you aren’t able to love gansey as well and vice versa' thing people have is that they're very similar characters, like cut from the same cloth/different sides of the same coin and not just in ronan's head, like they're mirrored reflections of each other hell k even chose death why gansey is being thrust into death by no choice of his own, both leaders, both terrible with emotions, both have vices they hide behind

yes but you know what's interesting? in terms of leadership kavinsky shares mirrored qualities with gansey, but on an emotional level he'd probably have more common traits with adam (to me, he has, pitty we'll never be sure about this, he's our jersey trash piece of shit with no pov after all) and we all know very well that the most problematic in this fandom are adam, k and gansey right

and then k takes proko with him when me moves, i like to think they're childhood friends like i think it takes a long time for k to get really attached to people like he likes the dream pack because he's super selective who gets to stick around with him but he's still working his way up to trust and loyalty to them, also i like to think even though proko is a dream-thing he's also he's rock, his stable person like gansey is to ronan,

but because he’s a dream-thing he can’t pull him back from like gansey can with ronan, but he’s the one that can bring him back from a bad high or a nightmare, and sometimes he can make him stop but then k remembers he’s a dream-thing and it just makes hime feel guilty for whatever happened to proko and he’s reminded he’s not “real” he’s just a ghost a forgery, he can’t save him like k couldn’t save proko

so i don’t have the first part of this drabble/imagine/whatever-the-proper-term-is anymore but i have to publish it for my ~collection of proko and k things that make me sad~

i've always felt like proko's death might have been a continuation on the suicide theme, either that or he od'd

if he od'd i doubt he'd remember as he would most likely have fallen asleep before dying so him waking up later would "make sense" in his head

if he did kill himself, k bringing him back gets kinda gross (idk i think it's sort of violating agency?). depends on the circumstances though, it might have been a plea for help gone wrong, or proko might not have gotten the help he needed in time, and bringing him back could allow k to in some twisted way prevent his death, kinda like going back in time except not at all?

regardless, i don't think k would change much in him (i mean, if proko was a friend and k wanted him back it would make the most sense to bring him back exactly like he was) but i do think he would have removed the actual event from his memory
