👻 for our muses to go in the haunted house
Nova was practically bouncing on the balls of her feet as she and her oldest sister neared the front of the line for the haunted house. She loved this attraction, had ever since she was a little girl -- she and Ronnie had always been the brave ones in the family, and half of the fun was watching Elise and their parents squeal in surprise while they stayed stone-faced. This year, though, it was just the two of us, and Nova was determined for that to be just as good, if not better, than the haunted house as a full-family affair. “What do you think, can we scare them more than they scare us? I think that should be the challenge this time, don’t you?” she asked eagerly.
