Happy birthday dude heres a headcannon! i hope you like it:)
how i think Connor and Richie’s relationship would be
✦it wasn’t the longest relationship
✦two months over the summer
✦they hung out at the arcade a lot
✦it kind of sucked trying to keep their relationship looking platonic, especially with henry breathing down Connors throat
✦whenever they wanted to hang out alone though they’d go to a field not far off the quary where hardly anyone ever went
✦it was really pretty for watching stars and it was close to the quary for swimming
✦whenever they were together they joked a lot
✦they hardly had serious discussions but their relationship made them happy and sometimes life doesn’t need to be about the philosophy of existence and all that bullshit
✦when they did have serious conversations though they were punctuated with jokes that kept the pressure off and smiles on their faces
✦summer nights were their favourite
✦they’d always go walking around when the sun was setting and people were heading in for a late dinner
✦the air was cool and the setting sun painted their faces in pretty glows
✦Connor could never figure out how to beat Richie at street fighter and he never would
✦Connor was only staying for the summer though so they broke it off on Connors last day in derry
✦there definitely were not any tears
✦whenever Connor visits henry though him and Richie hang out
✦no matter how old they get they always meet up at the arcade and Richie kicks Connors ass at street fighter
✦it was one of the few nice things in derry, it was filled with laughter and stupid smiles and pretty sunsets
Just a small prompt: Ricky and Connor were together for about a year two months prior to the story. However, they eventually ended things due to their hectic lives. What Connor doesn't know is that when they broke up, Ricky was three months pregnant with their little one. A month has passed and they run into each other at a party a fellow YouTuber is holding. During the party, Connor finds out about Ricky's pregnancy and they get back together. Thank you and stay awesome. :)

To say that Connor missed Ricky, was probably the biggest understatement of the century; and he hated that they had to end things the way they did… but their schedules were so busy and they barely had time to see each other anymore. Ricky was supposed to be going on tour with Trevor, and Connor was busy working on other things. They were still friends, but Connor hated it.
Connor and Ricky broke up a month ago after dating for eight months, though they’ve been friends for many years before they started officially dating each other.
That’s why Connor was so thankful that they both did youtube, because they were still able to see each other every once in awhile thanks to conventions, just like Playlist live.
Playlist Live 2016 had finally arrived and Connor couldn’t be more excited about it. He loved being able to see all his friends that he never got to see and he loved meeting thousands of viewers.
“Have you seen Ricky?” Connor asked, walking up to Kian. He’d just gotten to the green room after finishing a couple of interviews, and he finally had some free time to himself.
“Ricky?” Kian asked, looking over at Connor. “I thought you two broke up?”
Connor rolled his eyes. “We did like a month ago, but… we’re still friends. I haven’t seen him in awhile. I just wanted to say hi and see how he was doing. These things are the only times we ever get to see each other anymore. So, have you seen him around anywhere?”
“Yeah, he should be around here somewhere. I was just talking to him like five minutes ago. He said he needed a break from all the meet-and-greets and stuff. Gotta give props to him though. Being pregnant and all. I sure as hell wouldn’t be able to do that,”
“What did you just say?” Connor asked, looking up at Kian with wide eyes.
“Huh?” Kian asked, blinking a few times as he looked at Connor.
“Did you just say he was pregnant?” Connor asked. “Is that some type of joke?”
“Did… you not know?” Kian asked, biting his lip.
“No,” Connor shook his head. “How is he… I don’t…”
“Gotta go,” Kian quickly turned around and walked away.
Connor took a deep breath, trying to process everything that he’d just learned.
How was Ricky pregnant? How far along was he? Was it Connor’s baby?
Connor looked around the room, and then he spotted Ricky by the food table, getting a drink.
“Here goes nothing,” Connor whispered before walking over to Ricky. “Ricky?”
Ricky looked over and was surprised when he saw Connor, and Connor immediately noticed the difference in Ricky. He was wearing an oversized hoodie, and he definitely seemed to have gained a little bit of weight. Connor was shocked, and he was confused as to why Ricky wouldn’t tell him that he was pregnant. “Ricky…” Connor began. He didn’t even know where to start.
“Um… hi,” Ricky said, setting his can of Pepsi down.
“Is it true?” Connor asked, taking another deep breath.
“Depends, what are you talking about?” Ricky asked.
“Are you pregnant?” Connor asked, not taking his eyes away from Ricky.
“Where did you hear that from?” Ricky asked, his eyes going wide.
“Kian isn’t very good at keeping secrets,” Connor said.
“I’m going to kill him,” Ricky sighed and shook his head.
“So, it is true?” Connor frowned. “Why would you not tell me?”
“Can we not talk about this here?” Ricky asked, nervously looking around.
Connor grabbed Ricky’s hand and led the way out of the room. He started to lead the way to his bedroom but they got stopped on the way there when a mob of fans spotted them.
They tried to say hi to as many as they possibly could, but it eventually got too much for Ricky and they had to call security to help them get to Connor’s room.
“Sorry,” Connor apologized once he and Ricky were safe in Connor’s room. “I totally forgot there were literally thousands of people at Vidcon. It was the last thing on my mind.”
“It’s okay,” Ricky mumbled. “Things are just… different, now. I handle things differently.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Connor asked as he turned around and looked at Ricky.
“I was going to,” Ricky sighed as he looked up at Connor.
Connor crossed his arms against his chest. “Were you actually?”
“No, really… I was going to tell you. But… then we broke up and I just… I don’t know. I thought you would be too busy anyways so it wouldn’t even matter,” Ricky said.
“Ricky, if I had known you were pregnant when we broke up… I would have stopped everything just to be there for you,” Connor said as he walked closer to him. “I’m still trying process all of this, but I would definitely would have rather be there for you and the baby.”
“That’s the thing. I didn’t want to get in the way of your work,” Ricky said.
“You’re more important than my work. You’ve always been more important than work,” Connor said. He took a deep breath as he gently took a hold of Ricky’s hands.
“Then why did we break up?” Ricky asked. “Why couldn’t we have made it work?”
“I don’t know… I don’t know and I wish I knew,” Connor sighed.
“Connor, you don’t have to do this…” Ricky said.
“What do you mean?” Connor asked, blinking a few times as he looked up at Ricky.
“I understand if you don’t want anything to do with the baby. You’re young and you have so many things planned. I’ll be fine. I have my parents and my family,” Ricky said.
“Are you kidding me?” Connor frowned. “I would never leave you alone to deal with this baby all by yourself. I mean it when I say that I would drop everything to help you, and the baby.”
“You mean that?” Ricky asked as his eyes began to water up.
“With all of my heart and soul,” Connor whispered.
Ricky immediately flung his arms around Connor and hugged him tightly.
“Oh,” Connor chuckled and wrapped his arms around Ricky and held onto him. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Ricky whispered as he closed his eyes.
There were still many questions that were swirling around in Connor’s head, but the only thing that he really cared about was taking care of Ricky, and the baby. Their baby.
