Ah right, the OC meme thing! Wow, this’ll be a first, I think. Soooooo onward to the first one, I guess.

(Seriously old art on the left, it’s what I could find in my computer) For a moment I thought it was another character that had gotten a serious revamp in recent years. But, thinking back on it, Psychokitty was my first official OC and a character I tried to make my mascot but it didn’t last. The name was from a completely random comment a friend made when she looked at the drawing only very briefly back in...I want to say freshmen year of high school. The design is still usable but...I dunno, it still feels like something immature? I don’t know, maybe I’ll keep ‘em as a background thing.

I can’t pick, I love them all and I have way too many just pick one. Also I spent way too much time on this little comment just to say that. But seriously the one’s shown are just main groups, there’s none of the side characters, siblings, parents, bad guys, and so on. Letting them fight it out seems like the only fair option. I feel sorry for the full human, not ready for combat ones though...It won’t be a pretty death.

Trithia is by far the most complicated characters I’ve designed, or at least one of them, simply by virtue of being mostly machinery. And I’m still not sure about it. Designing armor for a non-human creature is difficult enough without adding the fact there’s technically no body underneath it, just more machinery. Like the pic says, I’m working on a webcomic with this character in it, so there’s going to be story stuff that I can’t say. But if you have questions, feel free to ask.

It’s looking pretty good as far as get the motion for the legs. Add some bounce to the body and head and you’ll have a chipper, less floaty walk cycle. I suggest looking up Richard Williams Horse Walk Cycle, very handy when it comes to quad walks.

yeh i tried to add some bounce in but it's not really apparent... gotta figure out HOW to do that first. i am animation baby

Ghost Must Dine fun fact?

Fun fact: How much I like a fic is directly related to how well I think the ending works. My best are usually ones that had the ending planned way in advance, my worst usually were just ideas that I hoped would find an ending along the way.

Maybe because it was short, but I feel like Ghost Must Dine had one of my strongest endings. Short, to the point, and of course (like 90% of my stuff) ironic, while still leaving the plotline open to the continuations.

Like, I don't think GMD has my best story idea or my best writing, but I'm pretty dang happy with the way the pieces of the plotline fall.
