katherine :-)
in 8th grade I was friends with a katherine. her mom died the year before but kathy acted like she didn’t care at all. later I found out that she and some other girls bullied a girl at our middle school. i’m glad I didn’t stay friends with her, but I hope she gets better.
on a lighter note katherine is also the name of one of my cool mutuals :’)
#1!!!
1:Talk about the first time you watched your favorite movie.
IDK, I can't choose between The color purple and Dancer in the dark so I will talk for both of them.
Dancer in the dark. I watched this movie 6 times and it is so hard to talk about the first time. It was a really emotional. I remember I started watching it on 11 pm and the other day I had school, but never regretted it. I had some hard times back then cause I felt so dump and stupid. I felt so open and natural while watching it, it felt like it was discussing my life even though it is not exactly the same. I cried so much while Bjork was singing "I've seen it all" and every time i heard this song I cry. My eyes are teary right now, too It is such an outstanding film, you know, it just happen to you. It stroke me and I realised I can find the light in world full of darkness.
The color purple. I watched this three times but it really helped me to find my individuality and embrace who I am. I watched it for fist time this summer when i had the worst time of my life till now. I was so messed up and heart-broken, I was deeply in love with somebody who didn't care. I though I am ugly and I'm worthless, but this film showed me even if I am ugly, I am here and I am alive. hat's what really counts in general. I may not be the best or the prettiest, I'm far from thinking these things, but I am myself and I am as unique as preach is, as fish is. So are you. (I'm reading the book right now) and I cried so much after it finished.
