Living on the Pluto IC Line

Living on your Pluto IC line in astrocartography is an initiation. You're stepping straight into your own personal underworld....deep....I know.

I know you probably heard it or read it thousands of times, the IC (Imum Coeli) represents your roots, your private life, and the physical walls of your home. It's where you retreat when the world is too loud. Pluto, on the other hand, is the planet of absolute transformation, shadows, and rebirth. It brings the wrecking ball to anything weak.

When you pack up and move to this line, expect your entire idea of home to be stripped down to the studs. Pluto forces you to look at the foundations of your life and asks if they are actually yours, or just what you inherited. Ancestral baggage, hidden family relationships, and old emotional patterns will inevitably rise to the surface.

Not gonna lie, it's going to be too much. You might feel a heavy desire to isolate, cocooning yourself away from the outside world. Your home stops being just a place to sleep and becomes an active crucible for your psychological evolution.

But the rebirth that happens here is completely unmatched....truly.

Once Pluto burns away the fragile and false sense of security, you get to build an absolute fortress. You become the sovereign of your own space. Your home transforms into a sacred and protective sanctuary where you can safely shed your skin and reclaim your personal power. You stop living on other people's terms and start planting roots that are unshakeable.

My advice for surviving the Pluto IC line is do NOT fight the wrecking ball. Create a comforting shadowy space for yourself. Let the old versions of you fade out and allow yourself to transform in the dark.....and book a reading with me 😏

Astro Notes: Astrocartography - The Planetary Lines Pt. 1

One of the most fascinating schools of astrology I’ve studied is that of Astrocartography.

Astrocartography in a nutshell is the study of Astrology using different parts of the world as it relates to your birth chart. Now, your birth chart doesn’t ever change. However, how your chart plays out can be influenced by where you are in the world as the houses and major lines (ASC,DSC,IC,MC) change places. As a natal 9th house stellium I know a thing or two about traveling across great distances (9th house). I live in a place completely different from where I was born, and having lived on a few different lines I have first hand experience with the effects of this phenomenon.

Pluto

A line I would not recommend living on unless maybe you have an extremely well aspected Pluto and even then, idk. I lived on my Pluto-DSC line for many years. Pluto is the planet of death, destruction, upheavals. Pluto doesn’t let you build anything in peace for very long and every time I tried to build something for myself here at some point something from left field came to bring it crumbling down. I was constantly going through crises’s in this place. In relationships, friendships, health (pluto was conjuct my dsc from my 6th house). One of the first things I noticed when I left this line was I wasn’t constantly sick all the time. Clinics were like my second home and my health was not very good on this line. Power struggles, even when I was doing nothing to provoke them, were constant. Felt like I was always fighting to survive here

Uranus

I think this line is a hit or a miss depending on what you’re looking for. Another line I would not recommend for building anything longterm because Uranus is going to make damn sure that doesn’t happen in any significant way, unless maybe it’s being supported positively by Saturn. I felt very erratic and chaotic on this line and so did my life. I could see this line being fun for people who want novelty or unique experiences short term. People might think you’re cool and different on this line, or weird and a little aloof. or both. relationships didn’t last

Chiron

oof yikes. this one’s painful. not just because chiron is literally the wounded healer, but because on this line this part of your chart is constantly being activated. I dealt with a lot of betrayal, hurt and rejection on this line. I’ve heard it said that this line can bring healing and I guess that’s true to an extent, but it hurts you first. In my experience the chiron line was a constant cycle of being hurt, healing from that, being hurt again, healing from that and on and on…this line feels like constantly being poked on a wound that never gets the chance to heal fully. I had permanently teary eyes here

I had a professional read my astrocartography/locational astrology chart and it has changed my life in the best way.
