do or would the vos ROs have a specific interior design for their homes, or would they have multiple designs in one?

This is the first time I see someone use 'VoS ROs' and I'm so happy to see it cuz this leaves less confusion on my end XD HAHAHHAA

To answer your question:

Zeus: They would have a mixture of minimalistic and 'chill' themes. They'll have a simple desk with different drawers to store convenient items (extra pens, tapes, stablers, blank papers, ink bottles [and yes, they have a goddamn quill too HAHAHA]), a laptop, a cabinet and even a table lamp in case of overtime.

But their bedroom would have a guitar and a shelf of some little stuff (gifts from Dionysus, stuff Zeus had made that held some value, etc). Zeus is mainly minimalistic due to how little they spent time outside of work hours.

Hermes: Their room is pretty dark. They try to avoid making it too dark that they'll never see light, but definitely no bright colours. If your MC prefers bright colors, you can negotiate to pastel colours (soft ones that don't stress the eyes).

As for their furniture - it's mostly a BIG metal table and a lot of their gadgets, trinkets, etc for inventing. There's also a cupboard full of books relevant to inventing and engineering or the history of science. They have a book or two on medical stuff, but they're mainly to treat the supernaturals. There's no need for Hermes to keep medical books about human medicines 'cause 1. they can find them on the internet and 2. they have horrible memories with them.

Dionysus: Warm colours, soft carpet and a comfortable, homely room. Probably got an apron hanging on their door so that they can grab it and wear it to make breakfast for everyone. There's also bean bags to sink into and a potted plant sitting on the windowsill of their room.

Ares: Hahaha. . .Ares would be insanely embarrassed if MC saw their room before getting a heads-up. I'm tempted to leave this unspoken because their room is just... XD I feel like you all should see it in the game when you get to it.

Dolos: That would require them to have a home first :D

I'm half-joking. But holy shit the chaos in the room. When Dolos had been a kid, they actually randomly painted the walls, floor and ceiling of their room before their parents found out and chided them for the mess they left on the furniture.

If or when they have their own home, they would want to add some artistic flair to their room, even have a decent amount of area to have a large easel for painting or drawing. If they could though, they'd definitely paint the fuck out of the walls and floors before moving the furniture in. Might even drag the MC in to help add their own colour to Dolos's room.

Gorillaz Themed Room Ideas

Jotted down some ideas for a Gorillaz themed room and decided to share them! It won’t be all posters and Redbubble though, it’ll be objects and designs based on themes and significant objects in the Gorillaz universe! I made these ideas mostly for myself, but yes, of course you can take inspiration from them! 

The ideas will be divided by phases and a few pictures + a general section will be included. There won’t be anything specific to phase 5, sorry, but i’m sure you can get ideas for that yourself!

Phase 1

Camo blanket or comforter (geep design). You could also do camo sheets if you want, but this gives you freedom to add whatever kinds of sheets you’d like underneath.

novelty pillows to put on your bed, based on phase 1 Noodle’s interests (Pokemon, Powerpuff girls, tamagotchi, etc.)

You know those basketball hoops you can hang on your door? Get one of those and get some balls based on the designs you see in the Rock the House music video. They would be red, white, and blue balls with star or stripe designs. You could design the balls yourself if you want them to exact to what you see in the mv, but you could easily find similar balls like this at the store! Keep them nice and neat in a bin for later.

Mini pool table (alluding to 2D’s 8-ball fracture accident) or a regular one, if you have the space and money. Technically applies to pre-phase 1, or covers all the phases for that matter, but let’s just put it in the phase 1 section since the first phase is closest to 2D’s accident.

Jeep figure or the actual Gorillaz geep if you want to replicate it yourself. You could put it on a centerpiece or sidepiece as a place for all your gorillaz objects (more on the sidepiece later).

Phase 2

Gonna be mostly objects for this one, but a few other things too. I’m gonna use a sidepiece as a place to keep all the objects, but you can use whatever you want to display them.

windmill (Feel Good Inc.)

Comanche and/or apache helicopters (El Mañana). You could also get the hangable models for ceiling instead of the figures.

Pazazu statue. I don’t see things like this in regular stores where i live, but it might be different for you. I recommend you look for it in an antique store or buy it online.

A music studio-like corner based on the Dare mv and bits of Feel Good Inc. with a keyboard, guitar, and some fake (or real) stage lights. You could also have a football helmet (same or different as the one Noodle wears in Dare) beside the area. Great additions if you already have a studio setup in your room. Not recommended if you’re not into music though, because having instruments or a studio setup purely for decoration is kind of a waste of money.

Phase 3

I feel like design and objects based on Phase 3 is where you’ll have the most creative freedom! List won’t be too long, but you certainly could play around with a lot of ideas!

Ocean colored walls. I’d choose a color like navy, turquoise, aqua, or a mix of them. There are tons of ocean themed colors and even patterns you could paint your walls!

Whale wall mount (2D’s fear of whales). I’d personally pick a swordfish mount, but you could stick with a whale or have another fish.

Or, you could do whale, ocean, or beach related window curtains. Again, there’s lots of ideas!

A figure of plastic beach itself for the sidepiece. You can find handmade ones on Ebay or Etsy or build it yourself. If sculpting isn’t your forte, i suggest building it with something easy like legos. There are tutorials out there you can reference.

Submarine figures (mostly On Melancholy Hill)

Stylo car figure. Custom ones are hard to find, and the ones i have seen are on the expensive side, but if you find the right model of a black camaro figure, you can paint it to match the one in the mv. I would specify which model but i’m not that good with cars, sorry!

The actual Doncamatic instrument. Yes, you can buy the instrument that the name of the song was based on! Not sure how easy it is to find in music shops, but you could find one online. A good edition for the music studio setup mentioned in the phase 2 section.

Phase 4

I’d have a Humanz themed corner! Most of the objects and decorations in the list will be in one section of the room. I recommend having this corner in the area your desk is.

Lots of Strobelite mv inspired things, including:

Fake (or real) disco ball

Neon signs on the walls

Lava lamp

Bright blue or pink faux fur colored rug

Or, a neon square tile rug similar to the pattern of the dance floor in Strobelite

A couple of speakers so you can add music to your disco themed corner. Would also be good for the aforementioned studio setup, of course.

turntable (Saturnz Barz mv)

A space mobile or stationary model for your desk or sidepiece (Andromeda and Saturnz Barz).

Magnet board with bright colored or even neon/glow-in-the-dark magnets (Sleeping Powder)

You could put Noodle’s chair somewhere in your room, which can be found in the Humanz deluxe CD

General

Have a shelf for all your Gorillaz CDs, vinyls, figures, and others! If you have a big collection of Gorillaz merch, a separate shelf of any size for them would be good! And don’t forget to hang up any Gorillaz posters you have!
