Wow. And who’s narrating this. If it’s your generic narration that’s great, but if it’s someone in One Piece I’ll get spooked

- for all Sengoku wanted Whitebeard dead, he doesn’t look happy right now. No wonder

Unless I genuinely like him, I will refuse to help and protect him.” I know Jimbei’s point is super moot in this case, for you really can’t NOT like Luffy (and he already likes him, duh) but this is a very valid thing to say. Let’s think of it that way, would you want your caretaker to despise you? (I’m ignoring the fact Luffy is an adult in One Piece. Well, adult enough to sail the seas)
