“Well... It is a maze, after all. It wouldn’t be fun if it was easy,” Fawn said, trying to remain chipper, looking around her as if something apart from tall walls of corn would appear in front of their eyes.

Eagerly wanting to participate in at least a few of the many fall events in Redwood Hollow, regardless of her sisters’ level of interest in them, she did manage to string Rose along with her to the Corn Field Maze. Only then did Fawn realize it was meant to be a spooky sort of thing, but she didn’t mind much. She was mostly worried about Rose being too scared, about her maybe becoming impatient at the prospect of being lost in a maze... But it would be a good bonding activity, the amateur baker had convinced herself. And besides, they would be spending some quality time together, in the great outdoors! What was not to like?

Beyond her own opinions on whether grounding Rose or not was of any use (which she couldn’t exactly express very often, since her sisters had very different opinions on the matter and Fawn did not like to argue), she hated seeing her dear niece locked up in her bedroom, as if she were some sort of criminal in a pink-colored jail. Still, she was definitely nowhere near going to let her get out early: after all, her sisters were right regarding Rose needing to understand that her actions had consequences.

In the end, though, just to make sure she wasn’t angry at her (nor at her sisters, either... but mostly her), Fawn entered Rose’s room, carrying a tray with the girl’s breakfast. “Good morning, dear... Still in bed?” she asked with a smile, sitting on the end of it, leaning her head down to avoid getting the canopy tangled with her hair. “You’re not sick, are you?” her aunt said, touching her forehead to check if she had a fever. As understanding as Fawn tried to be, she couldn’t really say she could ever condone staying out so late, and in the rain, no less. It wouldn’t be any surprise if the girl had caught a cold.

"I picked you a flower."

Rose looked at the flower in her hand, a wide smile blooming. She took the flower from him. "Thank you so much Hiro, these are lovely"

Rose wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's neck. "The truth except for the parts you feel like lying about?" she questioned in a honeyed tone. " And tell me my love, what is that you feel like lying about?" she inquired innocently batting her eyes at you.

would your muse consider themselves entitled? would others describe them that way?

Rose would be thankful for what she has, but also acknowledges that she has had a lot of privileges others aren’t afforded. She’s very mindful and grateful for what she has while also working towards making her dreams come true.

[ 28. ] sender shoves receiver against a vending machine to dodge security, breathless. "act natural."

Rose is startled by her back suddenly colliding with the vending machine. She looked around, seeing why her friend had shoved her. Security.

Back against the plexiglass display still, she tilted her head to the side to assess the snacks on display.

“…They never restock the barbecue chips,” she grumbled. “It’s criminal, honestly. Don’t get me started on salt and vinegar, they taste like sadness and battery acid. These however” she said pointing to the reeces cups. Directing their attention to them as well just in time for the security guard to walk by none the wiser.

Once the patrol was out of sight she turned to her friend Alice “ and how exactly does one act natural pinned against a vending machine? Also why are we hiding from security?” She questioned $1.50 less in her pocket because she couldn’t leave the peanut butter cups there now that she had seen them.

how often does your muse lie? Do they regret lying or do they feel their lies are justified?

Rose doesn’t make a habit of lying. However her safety is rooted in her secrecy. She’s more likely to omit than to lie. She does lie to her aunts about where she spends time and that she is currently dating someone.

Rose had been working at the nature reserve for a couple of weeks now, while making her way to do some pond maintenance she picks up trash and making sure there’s no hazards on the path. Routine maintenance should be an easy morning, clean the drains, check for snail eggs, test the water quality then I can go to lunch. Finding several clutches of invasive Apple snail eggs, spending almost an hour meticulously smashing the eggs. In her focus she failed to notice the nest of geese to her right until the adult geese started trying to bite and chase her.

Leaving caution to the wind she runs trying to get anyone’s attention so they can move, only the words her brain could muster were “goose stampede watch out”. Shouting to try and get your attention before she bumps into you. “Run, you have to run”
