Create these adorable rose-shaped cake pops for a delightful Valentine's treat. These sweet treats are not only delicious but also visually appealing, making them a perfect gift for your loved ones.
Ingredients: 1 box of cake mix flavor of your choice. 1/2 cup of frosting flavor that complements the cake. Pink food coloring. Cake pop sticks. Green candy melts. Edible gold glitter optional.
Instructions: Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl. Add the frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until well combined. Add a few drops of pink food coloring and mix until the cake-frosting mixture is uniformly pink. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into rose petals. Start with a small ball for the center and shape slightly elongated petals around it. Insert a cake pop stick into each rose-shaped cake pop. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper. Melt the green candy melts according to the package instructions. Transfer the melted candy into a piping bag with a small round tip. Pipe small green leaves at the base of each rose on the cake pop. If desired, lightly dust the roses with edible gold glitter for an elegant touch. Refrigerate the cake pops for about 30 minutes to set. Your beautiful rose cake pops are now ready to be enjoyed!
