At this point I’ve just accepted my fate of barfing out story ideas, knowing I may never get to them, but here you go:

Vampire! Eddie x Phlebotomist! Reader x Donor! Steve

Eddie and reader dating before the upside down shenanigans. Reader was off at college, getting their certification in phlebotomy, comes home early upon hearing their boyfriend being accused of murder.

Reader putting off their education, mourning the love of their life, only to be visited by the man himself. Only, he’s not the same man anymore. With sharp fangs, red eyes, and practically begging for blood, Reader goes against their training in order to give her own blood in order to keep Eddie alive. Only, they have incredibly hard to see veins, so they nearly kill themselves in the process.

Eddie being grateful, but horrified all the same with who he’s become and the dark voice buzzing in his brain. Reader deciding that they need to find someone willing to give freely so they could get the blood in a safe, controlled environment. (“No Eddie, you can’t bite someone! You could kill them, and I have the tools right here! No, I don’t care if that makes things less cool, we’re trying to keep the donor alive.”) Eddie being just a bit more blood thirsty, but willing to trust Reader.

In comes Steve. Steve, who wants to help. Who became close to Eddie during their time in the Upside Down. Steve who feels a strange…connection to Eddie now. The biting frightened him, but under the careful hands of Reader, is able to provide enough blood to keep Eddie alive. Steve, who comforted Reader when they thought Eddie was dead, who has now become someone important to the both of them.

I’m back on my movie AU bullshit again-

But a Mean Girls inspired AU with Steddie x a GN! Reader. Steve is Regina, Eddie is Janis and Reader is Cady. Mainly I want to take the plot idea of Eddie scheming with Reader to take down King Steve! However things quickly get messy when Reader starts to fall for the both of them, and they uncover older wounds between the two of them. Broken promises of staying together, and feelings left unexplored.

This could also be a Heathers AU, but I dunno, I can’t see Eddie being JD tbh. I feel like Janis fits him better. That, or the school thinks he’s a JD type but in actuality it’s someone else and Eddie’s just being framed for a bunch of bad shit. Which could in turn bring in the elements from the Upside Down. Steve, knowing Eddie isn’t capable of this kinda thing, begrudgingly joins in the plan to help clear his name, all the while their past is revealed to Reader.

I just feel like the Mean Girls dynamic of Regina and Janis could fit Steve and Eddie really well, so I figured I’d share this.

Okay so, this idea has been rattling around in my brain and I wanna share it with you-

MDI! this will have 18+ content!

But okay, AU with Older! Steve in his 30s or early 40s, but Reader and Eddie are in their 20s! Eddie made it big as a rock star, so he buys you guys a nice house in a fancy neighbourhood which coincidentally is next door to Steve.

You both just boldly flirt with him all the time as a couples activity. But your also just menaces, so he has a love hate relationship with the two of you. Your loud music and parties give him a headache, but he also can't forget how he used to be at your age. Still, he'd love to give you both a little discipline for once.

Especially when you flirt too much with him, or leave your bedroom window wide open so Steve gets a clear view of you two in bed. Uncaring if the whole neighborhood hears you screwing.

I have one idea, where you guys trespass and use his pool when you think he's asleep, only for him to come out and find you guys screwing in there too! Hes one hell of a sight too. Glasses perched on his nose, strong arms crossed over his hairy chest as he peers down at the two of you. Not to mention his gray sweatpants look so good on him. No wonder its so easy to follow him back into his house. After all, he's got a big enough bed, and the three of you need to discuss you trespassing on his property. Ideally with you wedged between him and Eddie because he can't get over the way you sound.

Okay hear me out-

Pixar Cars AU with Steddie x Reader

Hear me out-! HEAR ME OUT I PROMISE I HAVE A REASON-

But okay, Steve Harrington leaving Hawkins after graduation (im thinking post season 3) to become a race car driver. After all, he is good at it and frankly after that experience with Toddfather, he might as well.

He makes it, Big Time. Becomes the darling of Hawkins again, and that old King Steve personality starts creeping back in. Still, he plays the ‘Small town boy from humble beginnings’ part pretty well, so no one catches him on his bullshit too often. He’s just too good a talking his way out of things.

Until the big race, the biggest one of his career. Just like in the movie, his car trailer breaks down and he’s left right back where he started at the cusp of Hawkins, Indiana. He gets towed, this time by Eddie Munson who’s become the local mechanic. Him and Steve throw barbs at each other, with Eddie seeing right through his ‘humble’ act the second he gets there. Still, Steve likes it. He likes being checked again, and frankly Eddie looked really good in mechanic overalls.

With his team having to circle back to get him, Steve is stuck in Indiana for a while. Its also during this time that he meets you. The waiter/waitress at the local diner. Unlike Eddie, you’re a little sweeter to him. You moved to Hawkins after Steve left, so you only heard stories about the big time race car driver. It helps that you’re a bit of a racing fan, like to a nerdy level so Steve enjoys talking to you. He dials the charm way up, and the genuine way you react to it leaves him feeling such a warmth inside.

It doesn’t surprise him in the least when he finds out you and Eddie are dating. A mechanic and a race car fan? It made sense, even if it bruised his ego. Lucky for him though, you and Eddie are both charmed by the race car driver, even if Eddie can be a little sarcastic with him.

The story will follow Steve remembering where he came from, and the whole reason why he put the ‘King Steve’ title to bed in the first place. From reconnecting with Robin and the gang again, to working through this new discovery about his sexuality, to dealing with the aging backdrop of Hawkins that leaves so many of its people feeling hopeless and lost to time. (Side note, this last bit is inspired by a video called Monstrous Existence. Seriously you need to watch it. Its about Night In The Woods with a Cars preamble, and oh my god, I cried at the end. Im literally not kidding, I cried. Its such a good video and seriously makes me wanna frame Hawkins in a semi similar way to the way she talks about Cars, but also about Mae’s town.)

He gets racing tips from Wayne, cuz I can see that being a fun link between him and Eddie. Then between driving montages, he has ‘hang outs’ with Eddie and his partner which slowly start to feel more like dates. He even lets them drive in his race car, and gets this ego boost from the way they get so excited over it. I definitely think at some point they spend the night together, finally admitting their feelings and even promising to come on the road with him. Steve also promises to promote Hawkins more, which will boost the town again and create more jobs/tourist opportunities.

I’d love for the Upside Down to be a part of this somehow, but I’m not entirely sure how. Overall, this is my offer of Race-Car Driver!Steve Harrington. I hope this pleases you-

Okay I dunno if anybody has done this before, but if they haven’t, I wanna offer the idea that’s been bouncing around in my head:

A ChipandDales AU with Eddie, Steve and Reader! I listened a bit to the podcast dedicated to the story, and there’s this one bit I remember where they were talent scouting. So maybe both Steve and Eddie catch wind of it. Eddie, wanting to get the hell out of Hawkins, accepts immediately. Steve is a little hesitant at first, but the pay is really good and he is known for his looks, so he ends up applying too.

Maybe there’s some tension because Eddie is like “obviously they’re gonna take King Steve over me, fuck man.” But! They accept them both and it’s a swirl of being flown to the location and into preparation for the shows.

For Steve, there’s this particular act that I can see working for him that was talked about on the podcast. Tt’s this Frankenstein’s monster story about ‘The Perfect Man’. Basically taking pieces of different dudes and mixing them together to create the perfect guy, only for him to be destroyed in the end because the one thing he’s missing is a Heart. The last song used when the guy is created is The Kid Is Hot Tonite by Loverboy. I’m thinking this is a AU where Steve doesn’t exactly change his ways, and is still King Steve even in Season 4, so there could be this underlying story about him finding his ‘heart’.

Eddie probably takes The Freak label and runs with it, using his love of theatrics, and music, and skill at playing the guitar to build a routine for himself that’s centered around that. I imagine for him, it takes a while before the owners decide to let him do the routine, and it ends up being a Big Hit. Pulling in even more people from different backgrounds and even getting his music promoted in the process. Still, while he adores the stage, he never really feels accepted and is lonely despite the fact that people are clambering to be with him.

In comes Reader! I’m not entirely sure who they would be, tbh. Maybe someone who just wandered in for a night, or maybe they got hired as a dancer, or works in the costume department. Maybe they were having a birthday there, or something scandalous like a bachelor/-ette party. Regardless, they meet the guys somehow and the three start getting along splendidly, even if Eddie and Steve have a tendency to bicker over them.

Vampire Eddie thoughts because my stomach hurts and I feel warm, and sick-

But okay, when I don’t feel good, I get really warm and it’s just an awful time. But! Cold helps! So I imagine laying on Vampire Eddie would just be the best thing ever <3

You just lay on him, skin to skin, and it’s just so nice and cool. Like when you flip the pillow to the cold side, that kind of pleasant chill but it’s everywhere. You just stick your face in the crook of his neck and it’s better then any ice pack in the world. You two just create the perfect temperature together, and it’s one of the few time’s he’s grateful for being who he is because back when he was human, he ran pretty warm. Obviously you loved him when he was human, but this is nice. It really helps and I imagine he likes it too because the warmth reminds him of being human again.

Okay but Steddie in season 3-

Let’s say Steve and Eddie are dating, and Eddie’s decided to be a little shit, and tease Steve ALL DAY. Woke him up that morning with a very nice phone call, his voice deep and rumbly in that way Steve has become to associate with sex. Only to tell him not to cum despite being right there on the edge.

He calls him again, but this time at Scoops. Robin has to give him the phone with a massive eye roll, but she ends up promising to watch the front while they do their thing. (You know, after Steve’s promised her he was going to close up for the night alone) Eddie once again brings him to that edge, and he thinks that this time he’s going to let him, but Eddie once again is like “Wait till you close up, alright? I’ll keep you company.” And it’s the promise of being with Eddie alone that gives Steve the strength to stop himself, even if he wanted to curse Eddie out over the phone.

With Robin heading out, and Eddie stepping in, Steve takes the opportunity to get a little revenge. Brushing off Eddie’s advances by pointing out that he needs to close up. It gets just the reaction he wants, with Eddie tugging him into the back and into an outright rough kiss against the wall.

They end up with Eddie sitting down, with Steve straddling him. However, Eddie’s got a challenge for him. He can finally cum, if he can keep the scoops hat on his head the whole time. Steve takes on the challenge, thinking it’ll be easy, but Eddie absolutely takes the opportunity to be as rough and fast as he can with him. To the point where Steve just has to hold on to his hat for dear life, which Eddie only lets slide because he thinks it’s funny-
