I'm curious about RoseRuss, CallieRose, KurRose, SolRose, and TavRose. What appeals to you about those particular ships? I've never thought of them before.
Okay so regarding Horuss let it be known that I ship the Zahhaks w everyone except Kanaya (and Serkets + other assorted villains, for obvious reasons) but like. Horuss is a grumpy dude who puts on an act of cheerfulness and Rose would probably be amused by Horuss’s grumblings and enjoy Horuss’s need to adhere to a posh-society-script and the two could go out on fancy dinner dates and wear expensive dresses/suits and talk about “high art” which is just thinly veiled troll-hentai and hentai which is just slightly dirtier human-high art and also Horuss would ADORE Rose??? Like he would worship the ground she walks on and Rose would eat it up imo CallieRose I see as being very cute cause like they’re both SOOOO smart and Callie would share her accomplishments with Rose and Rose would do the snark thing she does where she’s like “that’s nice but I have accomplished ___” and try to get into a volley of one upmanship but Callie would just be like “:O!! Omg that is so great wow Rose you’re so skillful and intelligent!” And Rose would get blushy and flabbergasted bc 1. Calliope is heckin adorable 2. how is Rose supposed to continue playing one-upmanship if Callie is so nice and genuine?!!?! It’s not possible!!!! So Rose gets better abt accepting other people’s accomplishments and paying compliments where compliments are due and it’s just a back and forth of two girlfriends appreciating each other’s incredible achievements and holding hands and playing dressup together since they both enjoy doing thatKurRose I see as being more “wow. We got involved in forces WAAAAAY beyond our scope and fucked up.” “Yeah we sure did.” “Wow.” “We fucked up pretty bad” and the two of them sorta working through the cult/occult/grimdark/voodoos shit together and sorta forming a new, still edgy but less legitimately dangerous cult vibe of their own and also just in general being trashy mall-goths who write emo poetry together and make out in graveyards.SolRose I like because it’s just an invitation for constant snarkfests. Just. Snark. Also less-than-snark People around them are like “hey, that sounds like a legitimate flaw abt the other person, maybe you shouldn’t toss that around in public that casually?” And Rose and Sollux are just like “what’s up you bipolar and self-destructive piece of shit? Ruin any relationships today?” And “hey how are those mommy issues of yours? Did you buy that margarita because it’s the only way you can remember and feel close to your dead and drunken lusus?” And it’s uncomfortable for the people around them but hey, THEYRE having a good time and they are genuinely helping each other with problems but like, neither of them tiptoe around the issues at hand.TavRose, ngl, I ship purely on an aesthetic value.
