Here comes an unsettling thought

You know rose only could save a few of her closest gems with her shield when the diamonds used their ultimate team attack. And in the latest promo the diamonds thought that they had destroyed all the gems on the surface. What if the shield lessened the diamonds attack and instead of destroying gems it corrupted them instead

AHHHHH FINALLY!!!!! I'm finally done with Rose's sword and sheild!!! The amount of hours I put into the sword alone was like 52 hours in total! The sheild took about 6 hours (thank god for Snowdays!) 🌹🌹🌹 The sword was hand carved out of my old bed frame! I HAND CUT the handle and blade from it. That alone took 6 hours. I sanded it all down, and painted it with a shimmery pink paint I mixed together. The weird little hand protector, and bottom piece were sculpted from shitty craft foam. The sheets of craft foam were super thin, and costed like a dollar. I wrapped the handle in hand dyed twine so that the grip would be better, and I wouldn't have to worry about painting that part. The design on the little bottom piece is a star, and on the bottom is a huge rose I made. Fake silk rose buds I got from the Dollar Tree are glued here and there. I mainly used hot glue. 🌹🌹🌹 The sheild was made over a single snow day. In the attic of my house there was this old circular mirror with a back part. So, I took that, (carefully) removed the mitror part, and got to work! I hand painted all the decals and the handles in back are just made from ductape. They are screwed into the sheild. 🌹🌹🌹 God I am in love with how these turned out!!!! It looks so good!!! I plan on making a matching Scabbard! Oh I can't wait to bring these to Anime Boston!!
