@anyone who just finished the first ep of pearl next door, ahdkshshs come freak out with me 😩✨💖😍✨💕
no one understands my exceptional vision (astarion with a fat girl)
i dont know how to describe theyre gender goals for me but in the dyke way
gonna start doing a hairstyle i call "garbage buns" where i just pin my hair into a vague shape on top of my head with 1000000 bobby pins and go 'thats a problem for Later Me'
i used to be like 'well i'm a girl so no one in my family probably suspected i was autistic' but then i remember my aunt, who taught disabled kids, ALWAYS brought me stim toys "from work", how i had speech therapy growing up and would be routinely pulled out of classes for random tests, and the fucking Indigo Children book at my mom's house
got a nice linen tote bag for 8 bucks today and dyed it with a box of RIT...gonna add velcro to close it and make it a more substantial purse ...and finally have a place to put all my fucking buttons and patches
whenever i see “NEVER have (insert -ism or -phobia here) in your ttrpgs” discourse pop up again i always roll my eyes so hard like…ppl act like having bad shit in your dnd games makes you, the players/dm morally corrupt. It all comes down to the setting and if everyone at the table is aware and consenting. And also that its clearly presented as, you know, wrong and shitty in the narrative. If you don’t want any kind of in-universe bigotry or social hardship in your game, that’s completely understandable! Me and my gay/disabled/minority players do, though, because engaging w certain subjects through a fantasy lens can be freeing and interesting for a story.
also i find it funny that this take usually comes from the “tieflings are for the gays because of stigma” crowd but … how would that matter if they’re not going to go against any kind of difficulty in their story. Babe thats just a little guy. You wiped away your own symbolism.
