11/11 Rotten tells Stretch in no uncertain terms that he is welcome to stay with them (& recommended for his safety) for as long as he likes. Stretch is sitting up at this point, & surprises them both by not speaking, but suddenly hugging the stoic Rotten, who will never admit he emitted a squeak in that moment. After a second, Rotten hesitantly returns the hug. Rotten politely does not acknowledge the tears trailing down Stretch's relieved face after they pull away. He stays here for some time.

10/? Rotten tells him Stretch likely pieced it together already, but in case his mind was still a little slow from his...ordeal (he has a brief moment where Stretch wonders if Rotten is avoiding using the word "captivity"), Rotten spells it out: they have 'liberated' Stretch from his previous position in King Blue's court. He explains he has temporarily blocked his own universe from Stretch's timeline, & states how they do not intend to comply w/any of Blue's demands should he make them.

9/? Stretch drifts off again & awakens later to the sound of footsteps approaching him, small ones. Normally that would mean instant tensing of his bones in preparation for whatever Blue wanted of him...but these footfalls were too heavy for his elegant brother. They snapped against the carpet. He turned his head to see Rotten approaching, a neutral look on his face. It may just be the happiest thing Stretch has seen in half a year. Rotten get right into "does anything further hurt?" etc.

8/11: Stretch blacks out as the teleportation displaces him from the room with a churning in his stomach cavity. It has been too long since he last used magic, and especially since he last teleported (well over 6mo prior). He blacks out, and is numb to the world for several hours, until he awakens with a dull ache all over his body, centering in his skull. Classic symptoms of teleportation through alternate worlds.
