A little alternate from AENEM chapter 23 by @zinzabee of @bontwisty 's OC, Rex!

Originally, the tattoo artist in the chapter wasn't going to participate in Mikey's revelation. I loved that Rex was a tattoo artist so thought it would be a cute nod when I commissioned zinzabee, but the chapter ended up going in a different direction. I love both of their OC works so I also got an alt with Rex in it (with permission, of course)!

I love both pieces so much; it was a real honor~ 💞

... what's Rex story?

(I'm new to this stuff)

Hello!! Rex’s story is pretty simple he used to be a normal pet turtle owned by a surfer but got bit by an oozesquito. Since Rex was an adult turtle he immediately became an adult mutant! He found his way into the Hidden City before he eventually moved to the beach where he began to take up surfing. Eventually he ran into the Hamatos when they were having a beach day and became friends with them <3 (then eventually found other mutants and began dating one, Mire! He’s @ saltyspittoon’s oc :] )
