Finally making a stained glass piece for someone who is not a tumblr mutual I'm trying to surprise so I can post progress pics as I work on it. I always intend to post pics after giving the mutual their gift but I just forget, or get lazy about it. I am waiting on the patina to dry so I have some time for my current project.
This project is for my family who love Rottweiler's based on a picture of their current very nice Rottweiler.
First picture is my initial pattern. I had a picture open on my laptop which I semi traced simplifying the lines.
The eye and 'eyebrow' are not labled because I plan on filling in the eye with solder and at this point in the creation I had not decided if I was going to etch the eyebrow or do something else. I couldn't find a way to split piece #3 around the eyebrow that I liked the line of.
