sheikah trio!
Purah not a morning person. I still plan to keep this place sfw, that includes foreign mild cussing.
I missed drawing them, between Deep Cut and me being ill I've neglected them plenty. :C
I don't know if he's dancing or just so hyped for dinner...
I bet they are so happy to be part of the playable cast this year.
Old pic I did of these two, my babies.
Let me try post tagging @red-gekkouga
Here's the interview. I don't know if it starts where I set it to, but since embed sometimes works how it wants to, the time code is 59:54, they're singing Arabian Nights from the original animated Aladdin animated movie.
Most of the interview is him talking about what he thinks what got him into dubbing and voice acting, and his experience in the field, but the Robbie segments are cute, he talks about how he completely forgot he auditioned for the role (albeit in a rather informal way), and how he really likes the character, and wishes Robbie could show up more in future games so he can keep voicing him, even in BotW 2 as an old man, if given the chance, lol. And if you want to see him somewhat immitate how japanese Robbie sounds, it's time code 54:36, it's funny how he was kinda confused when he heard the original voice and was told to do it in a different way.
I play the game in Latin American spanish because that's how I played BotW, and because I knew a lot of the voice actors that were dubbing the characters, but I really like some voices better, Robbie is one of them, and young Impa as well (no offense to her english VA, but I don't like how she sounds). If you are curious how the dorks sound in Latin American spanish, you can check out the og trailer here and the recent wave 2 trailer here .
Thank God I'm not the only one who thinks it was underwhelming! Definitely seemed rushed.
Yes! Honestly the new enemies are actually really lame. The Moblin with explosives was already in the game, they were just exclusive to the divine beasts sections, and they're boring to fight, their normal counterparts are far more engaging. The big Chu-Chus just roll around, they don't have a moveset that makes the fight engaging, or fun, nothing, really. The new wizzrobes are nothing new, you just use a different sheikah module to stun them, but it's the same turd, just different smell. The dangerous specimens are the worst, they're just normal bosses with extra HP and flashy lights to make them look threatening, I guess? And don't get me started on the lab rewards, they're mostly QoL improvements that should have been free, some of that stuff I legit thought were unlocked normally by playing post Terrako repairs, only to find out in the worst way possible that they were no unlockables: they were wart of the wave 1 rewards. Link's Flail is fun and all, but his regular weapons are better (big sword is my favorite). Zelda's Master Cycle is the only Wave 1 thing I legitimately enjoyed, it's really fun to use, and clearly makes the Flail look lame in comparison, lol. The Battle-tested Guardian is... meh. I JUST started to play as that thing (which is why this rant is coming out so late), and it's.... eh. Terrako is soooooo much better than that thing, why did they even bother? I don't get it, honestly the most logical conclusion is that they came across some unexpected obstacles, and most of these things, especially the guardian, were damage control so they didn't have to delay wave 1 release (and maybe wave 2 by extension), otherwise, if these things were indeed planned, then boi... Wave 1 was a big disrespect, but I think the worst disrespect was teasing DLC expansion with both Purah and Robbie, putting them next to playable characters, then bang, pushing them off to the background. If I could get a refund for this DLC, I would without a shadow of a doubt, I trusted them and so far, I regret doing so.
