aka why is it always the depictions of hunting and animals that get talked about and rarely so the fact that humans were out there putting their hands on rocks and blowing pigment on them much like we would now with those blow markers you so wanted as a kid or just really dragging their fingers (=finger fluting) all over the moonmilk of the cavewall to leave a message to their pals like sure animals are cool but god i love humans so much

Day 19: Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac - France

La Grotte de Rouffignac.

I didn’t take these pictures, since photography wasn’t allowed in the cave. However, I thought it would be nice to post some images of the cave art we were so lucky to see in real life. This place is truly magical!
