Boy oh boy, no ones ready for the rarepairs I have cooking up.
Now now now, settle down Burning spice fans. Don't come killing me please 😭. I could rant on about these ships BUT instead,I'm going to just explain real quick why I ship them.the ship names might be cringe so be warned (SPOILERS AND RANTING AHEAD!!!!!!!!!)
Licorice x Wildberry (Evil Berry) - Licorice works for dark enchantress right? And who is dark enchantress? White Lily. And who is White Lily friends with? Hollyberry. And how is her son and body guard? Wildberry. See the connection? Now I shipped this before the update with White Lily but I love their polar opposites and the fact that Wildberry would be hella protective of Licorice and I love that.
Oyster x Tarte Tatin (Pirates Order) - Old lady Yuri? Don't mind if I do! I love this ship, mostly because the both of them have some form of authority. Plus, Oyster might not mind a small break from the Crème Republic and enjoy some time with Tarte Tatin alone under the stars as they talk about their jobs. Plus... Yuri. 🤩
Doughael x Clotted Cream (Royal Gospel) - yes yes yes I know this is extremely wild considering Doughael is canonically dead BUT, HEAR ME OUT. When I ship the cookies, I think of them being in the kingdom. Alive, and well, and living in the houses that give you xp jellies. So, thinking that way, Doughael is still alive. How did they survive? I'm still working on that, but regardless. Madeline went to their church right? To figure out what was going on? Well because he works with/for the Créme Republic, Clotted cream is gonna hear about it. He gets curious and goes on his own after all the other devotees leave and finds Doughael, heavily injured, but alive. He helps them and they bond and slowly get closer and closer despite the Créme Republic being against his growing love for them. I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that.
Lemon x Grapefruit (Musical Wheels) - So this one is more of based on their personalitys and the fact their already friends. There's not much I can actually say about this one.
Lilac x Burning Spice (Burnt Lilac) - The moment you've been waiting for. Now I understand Burning Spice might be one to actually fall in love or want a relationship in a romantic fashion, but, hear me out. Lilacs story has to do with him being an assassin right? And who would probably want Burning Spice dead? Golden Cheese. So, her not taking into consideration that he's immortal, hires Lilac to attempt to kill him. Lilac fails because of his strong scent and figures out that Burning Spice (Not canonically) feels guilty for what he's done to the cookies who looked up to him. Secretly, he's been trying to rebuild the town but he's more injured then he thought he was. Lilac helps Burning Spice who tries to push him away, harm him, and insults him constantly. Lilac is persistent and the two finish up two houses together. It would take Burning Spice and very very long time for him to trust Lilac but he would eventually,and Golden Cheese would be mad but that's a story for another time.
Sugarfly x Wedding Cake (Fragile Wedding) - Yuri!!! Ahem ahem, I ship these two for two main reasons. 1. their colours fit very nicely together and I really like that, and 2. Wedding cake seems like a woman who can be gentle and caring, something Sugarfly would desperately need coming into the kingdom. Very simple, very cute, I love it.
Captain Caviar x Pavlova (Rough Love) - Now before you accuse me of anything disgusting, I think of Pavlova, if he ever left the Garden of Sweet Delights, he would look like his older version, not the childlike appearance. I also like to think of him like the Greek God Eros, since Eros/Cupid are mostly viewed as a naked baby with a bow, despite Eros being an adult. I see Pavlova as an adult, but stays in that younger form because of Eternal Sugar. With that, Pavlova loves romance, but never has one of his own. So, he goes around the kingdom to try and find.. Someone. This is another long story but, if you guys want be to go more in depth I can make singular posts for my ships. But we'll leave this at that for now.
Werewolf x Tiger Lily (Wild Lovers) - I like this one because their both... Feral, in a way. Werewolf cookie can turn into a wolf while Tiger Lily is more, "raise by the wild" so to speak. Tiger Lily would be afraid of Werewolf and would be able to comfort him when he's sad or stressed. This would just be overall really cute ^^
