ROUTE 35

Here’s the previous post, on Allegory Town!

This route is located in a marsh, and it consists of wooden paths through the water that lead to islets with tall grass. In the middle of the route there’s a Pokémon Center that looks like a traditional inn. This route comunicates the old capital of Ybra, Allegory Town, with the current one, Verse City. 

It is based on the Tablas de Daimiel, here’s a pic I took of the area when I visited it a few years ago, plus a reference pic of the Pokémon Center, based on the buildings in the main square of Chinchón (Madrid). 

In the Pokémon Center you’ll find a girl willing to trade an Oricorio for a Snoeman.

Snoeman and its line are the main ice types of Ybra. They are based on Snowmen, Santa Claus and the Three Wise Kings. Snoeman (Snowman + Noel) evolves at lvl.38 into Trisno (Trio + Snow). They are both ICE types.

Ybran Mudbray and Mudsdale are based on Manchego donkeys and Andalusian horses respectively. Mudbray evolves leveling up while knowing Stump, and Mudsdale becomes a GROUND FIGHTING type. 

Lanceneiro (Latón + Incense + Botafumeiro) is a single stage pokémon based on the Botafumeiro. It is a POISON STEEL type, and has a new ability, NOCIVE GAS, that has a high chance of sleeping and / or poisoning the foe everytime Lanceneiro is sent to battle.
