Tbh i don't understand Ashlynn being the next Cinderella, she should be the Prince(ss) charming of the story. Mainly because she's already a princess, and yeah Cinderella's story(Disney at least) is a riches to rags to riches. But it just doesn't make sense for Ashlynn to drop to rags in my head. Maybe in like her mom dies and she's sent off to live with her abusive family members for a while? Idk something something the sexism/mysoginy of the eah world
But Ash being the Prince/Princess I think could work with like her father pressuring her to marry and that sorta shit (or like an arranged marriage she breaks from? oooo)
Anyway uh if there was something in the books explaining this lemme know cuz I haven't read them.
Ragatha 👍 I decided to give her some more Raggedy Ann & Andy qualities since that is her main inspiration
Like Ann's apron and breeches, Andy's tie(?), And their gloves and striped socks!!
Her mouth doesn't have any shading or much definition but I gave her just a bit of a tint so it didn't feel too off to me.
The facial stitching was just a little something that I wanted to do cuz she's been in the circus a while and I kinda wanted an indication of that even though injuries aren't real/don't last in tadc but it definitely adds to the ragdoll vibe.
It was nice making her and I'll let y'all know when I make some of the others
Made Raven! I decided to swap out her spiked headband for a sort of forehead crown even though there is a spiked headband in gl2 it wasn't working for me with the little braids I put in her hair. I also added some little bat wings to her neck collar thing
Oh and under her neck collar thing I put the puff sleeves with the crosses for some razzle dazzle and also gave her some pink/purplish scars to allude to her magic

Wanted to revisit this series and my style has changed so I wanted to update the characters I've made. I've also just been watching a lot of EAH redesign vids recently. So far, it's just the main 8 girls but I'll keep y'all posted! I also tried to limit my color palette with all of them and give every color multiple uses
Apple 🍎
I just straight up didn't like her old design, from the colors to the items. And her posing, the pose itself isn't too bad but just like the general size of it. I've been making my characters bigger in posing since it gives me more room to work with.
For Apple's update I "changed" her name to Abigail and making Apple just a nickname. I'll do that for the other characters with odd names. I made her hair shorter to better contrast with Raven but still kept with the hints of green for the apple stem look. I changed her short jacket/vest looking things into a longer one and swapped her shoe colors. I wanted to keep with a limited pallet and give every color multiple uses. Just keeping it brighter and lighter than before. I also tried to give her an apple body type, as I've seen many a people do, but there's only so much you can do in GL2.
Raven ✒️
Yeah I changed her up a lot. In general I wanted them and Apple to contrast each other. Apple is short and stout, Raven is tall and lanky. Apple's short skirt to Raven's long one. Short hair, long hair. All that razzle dazzle. And just as Apple has some black in her design I gave Raven some white bits. I think I made Apple's waistline a big lower so I gave Raven an empire waist with a belt. I also gave them some blue highlights (initially they were blonde) since I think her mom in the Class of Classics comic had blue hair. And, I gave her the spiked headband back.
I wanted her design to still look royal but a bit removed from that. I also altered some of the colors. Oh, and I gave them green eyes because of the Evil Queen in the Snow White Movie :]
Briar 🌹
Yeah, I didn't like her hair and her design was just overcrowded in general. I made her taller but not as skinny as Raven. I gave her blonde highlights( and eyebrows) as they wouldn't blend in with her skin. I loved the green in her Way to Wonderland outfit so I gave her bits of green here and there.
I liked her shirt, eyes, and kitten heels so I kept them but changed up the rest, including giving her a better pose. Her bright pink shoulder roses were not it so I replaced them with a lighter collar/neckline of roses
Other than that she's still Briar
Maddie 🫖
Yeah her design also took a big change. They looked too much like the daughter of that smoking caterpillar guy before and not enough like the daughter of the Mad Hatter. His colors are brighter and I gave her some bits of dark brownish orange in her hair to better match her dad. Also made them darker skinned as I've seen some other people do and his hat bigger. And now she has his little dormouse too :] Her stockings are miss matched btw, you can't really see it with the pose
Headcanon that the Mad Hatter hat is passed down from generation to generation and every Hatter gets to add something to it (e.g. a patch, flower, bow, ect.).
Ashlynn ⌚
I really leaned into the cinder and ash thing by giving her bright firey orange hair. I also gave her a softer comfy aesthetic with a sweater and pleated skirt. Also changed up her expression so it looks like her and the little birdie and gossiping.
Her legs still have some scars from a broken glass shoe but now she wears shoes made of resin that won't send her to the Ever After ER
Cedar 🪵
Yeah she basically got an overhaul. I wanted it to actually look like a puppet as my first design barely conveyed that. I also wanted it's design to be really symmetrical, as my other designs do have some asymmetries, to sort of allude to her forced truthfulness. Unfortunately I couldn't make it 100% symmetrical as the cricket/frog thing on her headband was too important to exclude and doubling up on it would look weird. Idk if I made her too out of style but I like it!!
For it's pose I made it pointing to her nose, since that's her story and all that, and looking at the camera.
Headcanon Cedar doesn't like to wear things that'll get in the way of it's joints.
Cerise 🐺
Yeah they barely changed. I loved my Cerise design so most of the changes were just color and adjustments so they'd fit in better color wise. I did change their sclera to be a bit yellow cuz of their feral eye thing. Also gave them a patch of vitiligo cuz of their white bits of hair
I didn't like the ears I initially gave them so I changed it. You can't really see it cuz if their hair, just a hint of the tip of their ear. Maybe I should've made it a different color but I wanted it to match with their hair. I wanted to give them a wolf cut but idk if that came across right. I thought about giving them one of those wolf tail belt clip on things but that would've been too much I think. And I gave them a birthmark on her cheek :D
Blondie 🐻
She changed a bit but not by much. I gave her darker blonde hair and an apron cuz why not. Also gave her glasses since when I was looking through the EAH wiki there was a an image of her with glasses so I thought I'd give her some, also it would mean the whole mirrornet crew (Dexter, Humphrey, and Blondie) would have glasses!!
I imagine in the actual show there could be an episode about her getting a new pair of glasses and being very particular about the frame like in her bit in the episode where raven accidentally fucks up Apple's mirror.
Yo, I made Apple in Gacha Life 2. I gave her some green in her hair to kind of allude to an apple 🍎 leaf/stem, same with the not really scars of her left hand to apple 🍎 flesh/skin. Oh and also the freckles for, well, apple 🍎 freckles
Here's both young Amy and older Amy!! Couldn't find a proper hammer so spiked ball it is! I'll post the masc version and the combined versions sometime later
Here's Kitty!! Her pose also gave me some trouble, originally I wanted her to be floating with her knees around her chest but her legs were clipping with her shirt bottom and skirt so I settled on her just standing on one leg. And for her actually pose I wanted her hands framing her smile sorry of like a picture but adjusting her hands and forearms was tedious, worked out in the end tho :]
Originally I gave her 2 tails but then I changed one but then I just gave her this one, bit of a process but it's necessary.
And her top skirt has a slit in it so to cover it I adjusted one of the first page skirts to fit into the slit.
Kitty's hat some changes but the smile(horn) gave me trouble adjusting as the when the skew is right the angle isn't and when the angle is right the skew is all fucked up and you have to adjust it but it's a never ending task so I just settled for good enough which isn't bad tbf.
Now onto headcanons:
Her legal name isn't Kitty, I imagine it's something like Kat or Katya, but everyone calls her Kitty because of her mom. She never corrected them, it doesn't bother her and she wants to follow her destiny anyway and looks up to her mom so much!!
She's right handed but not too shabby with her left
And despite how much Kitty loves her mom she can't help but feel like she has to earn her mother's love and attention. That's probably effected her relationships with everyone in EAH who isn't Wonderlandian. That might've also been instilled into her when she was young (that us vs. them mentality), but as she's spent her time at Ever After it's less like "us vs. them" but more like "there's is and there's them, whatever"
Shes a cool character with a cool design and I love her<3 she is such a menace to society
