Cole's mom got sick because she was in shintaro with the geckles and munce for way too long and got overexposed to Vengestone. Normally in small amounts or for short periods of time it just gets an elemental master a little queasy, but Lilly was in an environment with a lot of it for who knows how long. The ninja actually all get pretty sick after Master of the Mountain (and zane starts glitching) and Cole basically has a mental crisis because he recognizes the symptoms a little too well

Lilly is a good chunk younger than the rest of her generation of masters, so when her father betrayed the team and started working with the anacondrai, Wu and Garmadon adopted little lilly and had to raise her at the monastery. That's why Wu is so fond of Cole and why he's so emotional in Master of the Mountain

After the season 4 rebuild, Zane is magnetic. People put magnets on him all the time for all sorts of reasons. But after the redesigns, Zane gets a lot of upgrades and the metal they use for his outer casing isn't magnetic anymore. This makes all of the others so insanely disappointed that he secretly replaces the casing on one of his arms with something magnetic again so people can decorate him

Kai and Jay will occasionally sneak in and write bad words on him using magnetic letters for like fridges. Zane always wakes up and forces them to put money in Wu's swear word jar.

If any ninja (or all as I like to believe) is/are trans, they use binding/tucking tape that match their gi colors

fun vivi fact: when i was first watching the series i literally mixed up Zane and Kai during the episode where Lloyd dyes his gi pink so much I had to write a reminder that Zane=Pink. Now I know their VAs by heart but like.

Maya was the team cartographer and is actually pretty well known throughout ninjago. If the current ninja have to use a map of some nowhere place, there's a pretty good chance Maya's signature is in the corner
