He fixes her with a gaze akin to a dragon guarding its golden hoard from an interloper, drawing the candy closer to himself. Despite reclining, he manages to look down at her, an imperious tilt to his chin.

"And what, pray tell, might you have to offer?" His tone is haughty and dripping with candy-coated condescension. Could she even present him anything worth but a single bon-bon?

Turning to shuffle through one of the nearby drawers, he continued on.

“She told me your name is Daneil.”

His search revealed a comb, as well as a few bottles and towels - each neatly tucked under one arm.

Daneil outstretches both hands towards the clear stream, beckoning out towards the unknown as her voice rings out like wind chimes. It is by her lyrical call, the water begins to rise as if some equestrian entity were bubbling forth to gallop from beneath once calm waters. Too enthralled by the magic itself, the singer merely smiles as the water horse dances its own performance. And though the crystalline display is magnificent, her song does not end lest the magic follow in suit.

It was a magical display - both otherworldly and dazzling. So much so, that he simply couldn’t help but comment.
