It was a learning experience. Magical stamina, even as great as hers, could be extinguished. She had to keep what reserves she had as guarded as possible, should there be risk of an attack. Moments such as these were when she wasn't at her strongest. To even summon her bow would have been too much.

She knew what were, and weren't her limits. Even the most skilled were bound to make misjudgements in what their physical form could handle at some point. Goddess blood or not, she was still as flawed as anyone else, no matter how hard she fought to maintain that image of flawlessness for her people.

"It is of no consequence at this moment. The heat of summer has never been troublesome to me."

The pale mage looked about the garden, curiously inspecting every little detail and studying even the smallest leaf. And the birds. He watched them fly overhead, ever captivated by their fluttering. There was magic in this place- and not just visually.

Eternal Sugar was plucking away at her harp, letting the tune fill the air, when suddenly she felt a presence in her garden which caused the fallen angel to stop playing… There was a moment of stillness from her before a smile worked up on her face as she realized that someone new had entered her lovely garden; making her flap her wings a few times before taking up in the air.

It shouldn’t take her too long to find the new guest in the garden~ After all, she knew the garden with the back of her hand. And sure enough; she was right as she spotted a purple hair cookie?

The moment she spotted the stranger, she carefully drifted down, making a graceful appearance before the other.

“Hello there!~” Eternal Sugar spoke in a sweet and honey tone of voice.

“Welcome to the Garden of Delight where true happiness can be found~ May I ask for a name and what brings you to this lovely garden?”

The quill of fate turns towards you, @windmcge​!

Jacklyn woke up slowly. At first she thought she was in her own bed, and began to count seconds before she’d hear the rest of the household wake up. Then she noticed that the roof above wasn’t her own. Then memories of what happened last she was conscious slowly began to drift into her addled brain.

She was walking through the fields when suddenly a terrible storm picked up! It must have been magical in nature because it was a perfectly beautiful day otherwise... was she whisked away somewhere? That had to be it. She sat up from her bed’s position and began to look around, confused as all heck as to who would want to kidnap a simple farm girl!

“H-hello?” she tried calling out, as loud as she could, “Is... is anyone there?”

A small part of her wanted to say anything.

The carmine colored moon perched on the plumes of dark clouds painted the night skies an eerie glow of crimson light hues, the stars not smiling down upon the earth tonight. But there was beauty rather than fear to be found. Witching hour on Halloween is a time best spent in celebration with jubilance behind one’s actions rather than wallowing in anxieties and dread. It was the only day where the worlds of the mortals and supernatural become as one, merging together. As one who spent most of her time among those who did not possess supernatural prowess (in hiding naturally), this was a day she’d spent in eagerness as it meant seeing old friends from the other world.

With her nose practically in the leather-bound journal she carried that detailed on plants, she paid no mind to the red mist that enshrouds Faron Woods aside from the small worry that it would be tough to find the herbs she’d set out for. The unmistakable sinister presence is absent from these woods, though there wasn’t a sense of peace that lingered within Faron Woods it mostly wasn’t a dangerous place, she did not know fear when here. Yet imagine her surprise to see another silhouette that appeared in the red mist. Slowly drawing her eyes away from, she’d let out a loud enough gasp once that silhouette would form. He was an otherworldly beauty, a man with inhumane pale skin and lavender colored locks. In her eyes, he looked quite... well, sickly. She could only stare for a moment before her mind would remind her that perhaps he was not feeling well. Though strange was it to run into another during this time, that didn’t matter at the present moment. 

“Oh! Hello, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to react like that... you surprised me was all. Hey, are you ok? You’re not looking too good over there.”
