Odette was in a better mood since getting home from Paris. She’d loved the city more than any other place she’d been in her whole life but she couldn’t shake the feeling she carried back from there. She hated feeling so down on herself when it had taken so long to build herself back up. But she was feeling a lot more like herself now, sitting under a tree staring at people as they walked by. Odette didn’t consider herself to be too girly by any means, but she could still appreciate nice clothes and good fashion. That’s probably what made her stop an woman, probably a little older than her by the looks of it, as she walked past. “Oh my god, I love your shoes!”
