It feels nice to be sitting at the table together with everyone. Even Sehun is there as Jieun and Minsoo place the food on the table, Seokwoo right there, already digging in the moment they all sat down at last. Everyone knows already except for the idol and Yuzu discretely slides a flyer over towards him, a cocky smile on her lips.
They won’t be able to see each other at practice in Seocho but she wanted to share her achievement with him in some way at last. “Pass one to Jace too while yer at it?” Another flyer is slid towards him, the grin on her lips growing.
“Haven’t told ‘im yet. Gonna be fun to see him yell at me over texts when y’pass it to him. kek.”

⇢ Yuzu being forever lost w. @rkxbin | reference video
“ that... did not sound like the song they had been learning... ”
the month had been rough. changbin was extremely awkward, the both of them completely lost but coping and the coaches relentlessly calling them out at random times to dance parts of the choreo only for the two of them to end up deflating in a pile of defeat by the end of the day.
but with progress things got better and the coaches got less mad at them whenever they’d get called out and could actually deliver. towards the second half changbin wasn’t as awkward as he used to be even doe he still blushed a lot. yuzu wonders if it’s him getting comfortable with the dance or if it was her easy going nature that helped. either way, the dancer was content with their progress.
for two new trainees they were doing well in her opinion!
but when d-day came, everything felt like it fell apart all over again. looking utterly confused as they were informed they’d be dancing to another song, yuzu looked back at changbin before turning to the coach. she rose a finger and opened her lips to inquire if this was a bad belated april fools joke but the face of the coaches told her to not even dare utter a word.
so the streamer bend her finger back down and tilted her head, brows raising as if to say “okay, nevermind”. with a shrug she finally turned to changbin and just encouraged him that they should make the best out of it.
dancing to a sexy song rather than an upbeat one definitely felt weird and it showed in the way yuzu couldn’t stop herself from giggling her way through the whole routine but they had been dancing this so much that despite a few stumbles, she was actually able to perform the whole routine well. when they were done she couldn’t help but laugh loudly though.
“what is this sourcery?! how did this even work?!”

⇢ Yuzu trying not to injure @rkxbin this time
“ after she literally hit him with a chair, yuzu thought changbin would never talk to her again. ”
looking for an eval partner yuzu was tempted to turn back towards her general pick and go to one of the other royal girls but part of her was hyped about this new coop group and wanted to attempt tackle one of the guys to do it with her instead. when moobin decided to leave royal, there were only dowoon and changbin left she knew who weren’t idols yet.
the first unlucky soul she stumbled upon was changbin and while she knew the guy had long forgiven her for the chair accident and they now all laughed about it, she was still certain he wouldn’t put himself in the danger of being anywhere near her line of fire again for whatever reason. apparently she had thought wrong. changbin appeared to be more of a brave man when he had actually agreed to team up with her, the dance okay with her and the song good.
once she got past her initial shock and the two of them actually got around to sit down and tackle the challenge, they both saw themselves frozen in the quest how to actually learn the dance though. yuzu had always followed a coach or gahyeon’s guidance, never really learning a dance from a video herself and changbin seemed to be just on the same page with her there, leaving them both to stare at the screen for a solid ten minutes at least before either of them got moving.
“well... a person grows with their challenges, right?” attempting to chuckle it off the streamer turns to an equally uncertain changbin, laughing nervously.
what on earth had she gotten herself into this time?

⇢ The Chaotic Comedy Duo flexing all over the place feat. @rkmb
“ they were a force to be reckoned with. a very chaotic force. ”
The script looked easy enough and practicing with Moonbin only made the whole thing a funny procedure in itself. Ban be damned, she at least got the chance to flex her skills as a streamer in this context all over the place. Yuzu lived to entertain others and combined with Moonbin’s chaotic energy, the two were bound to create something that would either leave everyone floored with laughter or both of them kicked out of the room for not taking this seriously enough.
Standing in the audition room with him together, cards in hand to have some sort of guidance that they agreed upon, the rookie trainee was relaxed and laid back, waiting for their cue to begin.
“Good Day to you all! I’m Choi Yuzu,” she began, letting Moonbin introduce himself before she continued. “and we’re here today... well why are we here today, Moonbin-ssi?” She questioned in a joking manner, letting Moonbin explain that they were going to teach their viewers famous kpop dances as she rocked back and forth on her heels, nodding her head along.
“The Hallyu is turning into a tsunami at this point so us humble trainees are here to provide you the content you seek out on the internet, easily for you to access and copy! Always remember- it looks easier than it is!” Sarcasm strong she flashes a thumbs up to the camera, wide grin on her lips. Moonbin goes on to explain what song they picked and what part of the dance they were going to teach their viewers before Yuzu continued along.
“But wait- what if someone can’t keep up?!” Being the stupid one in this scenario is something she doesn’t mind, Moonbin proceeding to explain how they would show the steps, repeat the sequence slowly and then go for the normal speed all while yuzu parts her lips and nods her head in understanding, being her usual expressive self. “I see, I see. And then we come up with catchy names to make the steps more easily to memorize?” A random, unscripted idea she just came up with tossed into the room she can’t help the mischievous glint that appears in her eye and is easily mirrored by Moonbin who simply follows along.
And so they were doomed.
Explaining choreography was easy enough but to try and do so when your partner came up with random, ridiculous names that were both innovative and fun it made the whole experience ten times better. They were doing a nice back and forth going through the moves, dancing them together smoothly and counting properly in between their laughter and ridiculous antics.
Only when Moonbin came around with “BWA BWA BOOM!” did Yuzu double over in legit laughter, using her cards to gently smack his head in typical Japanese slapstick comedy humor. “What is that?! That’s not even a proper name! You lose,” she comments in an off-handed manner but of course the competitive partner in crime of hers picks up on it immediately, successfully turning it into a challenge that continues to go on and become a legit sub-theme through the rest of the script.
By the end of their show they settle for a draw but it wouldn’t be Yuzu if she didn’t finish the audition with the words: “feel free to leave us feedback online about who you think won this competition! We hope you enjoyed this episode and will tune in again for next week!”
As you enter the company building this morning, you’re being pulled to the side by a member of the staff. He tells you to follow him and picks up one of your fellow trainees, Lee Hwichan, along the way as he leads you down the long hallways. The three of you stop in front of an office. Inside, there is a PR manager already waiting for you with a disgruntled look on her face. Once the staff member takes his leave, she motions for the both of you to take a seat across from her. “I don’t know if the both of you know why you are here,” she starts with a heavy sigh, “but there are a few things we have to talk about.”
She doesn’t spare you another look as she speaks and turns her attention to the tablet in front of her, instead. “As you may know, there is an article circulating around online about some idol couples. It has caused quite the stir amongst netizens.” She pauses and looks at the both of you with a stern expression. “Of course, the both of you know about it since you took the time to comment about it on social media.”
Sliding the tablet across the table, she looks at you first. “You might think what you posted online is harmless, but not only did you involve yourself in ‘online drama’, you actively spread it by sharing the link amongst your followers and causing more people to pay attention to those rumors.” Then, she looks at the trainee sitting next to you. “And you didn’t manage to keep your opinions to yourself as well. I say this only once – we do not tolerate our trainees participating in gossip. It’s not a good look for you and especially not for your company if these were to get out.”
She switches between both of your twitter accounts for a last look on your latest tweets before putting the tablet back to her.
“Even now as private trainees, your opinions can impact your image and ours as well. You have to be careful about what you say to others and post online since it can reflect on us negatively in the future and taint your career. How can we be sure that you will keep quiet when Royal Entertainment is involved in such an article if you can’t even mind your own business when another company is involved?” She clicks her tongue. “If you’re so desperate for attention, maybe you should put your energy into your training. Once you debut, you will get plenty of attention without pulling something like that.”
OOC NOTE: Both Yena and Hwichan are under an SNS ban, as is the rest of the company because of their careless actions. For more information about the extent of the ban, please refer to the announcement post made on ROYALS’s blog and wait until you receive further instructions.
She’s confused when they pull her aside first thing in the morning as she arrives with Gahyeon, a gaze casted back at her who mirrors her confusion. Even more so is she confused when they pick up Hwichan along the way. She still flashes a toothy, yet not quite smiling grin at him, shoulders raised to indicate she was very much clueless as to why they were walking together. Yuzu knew little about him but her mind wanders through all possible worst case scenarios. Were both of them dating? Did they look into relations of convex boys and uncover her and Sehun after all? Her brain goes a mile per hour and she’s quite honestly shaking in her boots but when they tell her she was here because of one of her tweets, she can’t help but let her shoulders deflate slightly as she breathes a subtle sigh of relief.
This was something she could deal with.
It wasn’t very ideal and she still felt bad about the thing but she literally didn’t know better. Exhaling a sigh, Yuzu rubs at the back of her head. The last comment makes her twitch just lightly cause she doesn’t appreciate being called an attention hoe but for once, the female actually decides to speak up for herself rather than put her head down and bow to the system.
With her hand raised she looks at the important people in the room, eyes questioning but resolute. “Can I speak for a moment? I want to apologize and explain.” With no one responding to her in a disagreeing manner, she takes that as her sign to go ahead.
“I wanna just say I really ain’t mean harm with that one. If yer aware of ma uh- my twitter, yer- you’re probably aware of my occupation as a streamer;” she begins, trying to actually use proper korean here to not look disrespectful.
“You may have found out I’m real- really good friends with Convex’ Jace because of this. My community has the running joke of shipping us. I made the tweet to tell ‘em- them to stop doing that. Since I ain’t- uhm... didn’t want to get him in trouble or reflect badly upon royal. If that person dug up information about one trainee, I really don’t want them revealing my status as a private trainee under Royal.” She inhales deeply, pursing her lips together once to not get her tongue twisted this time.
“I just want you to know about this. I’m not dating him. We’re just good friends and have been for a long time. So if anyone should dig up material of us gaming together, hanging out together or poking fun at one another, rest assured it is 100% platonic. I made the tweet to avoid unwanted attention, not gain any,” she adds at that point, unable to add that grain of salt to her otherwise neutral explanation. “I don’t know much about how this whole censoring yourself in the Korean entertainment industry works just yet but I will learn and adjust my tweets accordingly. I’m not used to having someone take care of my business for me since I worked without a manager all these years. I apologize again, I’ll reflect and learn. But could I maybe-,” the glare she receives as soon as she says “but” makes her shut up, palms raised. “Okay, okay~ I’ll shut up now. That’s all I wanted to say.” Turning on her heel she kind of speed walks out of the room, kind of pushing Hwichan along and only stopping when the door is securely closed behind them.
Only then does she exhale a deep groan, looking back at her sunbae, hands on her hips.

The female isn’t sure at first if she should approach Mina once she spots her on the streets. The girl is a fan and the chances of her going on twitter and revealing to the yuzufam that their beloved streamer was a trainee now was huge. Remembering their encounter however she can’t stop her feet from carrying her towards the girl, holding a flyer straight under her nose with her eyes crinkled into a wide smile.
“Would y’be willin’ to take one of ‘em?” She simply asks, wondering if the girl would recognize her on the spot or not connect the dots. Either way the female would have a plan to turn this to her favor so maybe it wouldn’t be too bad if Mina did recognize her after all.

⇢ Yuzu shining in what she can do best
“ Yay, nay or gloss was the question. They gave her hair conditioner instead. ”
And so doom day had come. Yuzu was excited more than nervous or scared. She knew how to make a fool out of herself well. If her humor would land in Korea and inside this company just as well as in the international gaming community? She was about to find out. Sitting together with some of the other trainees, leaning comfortably against the person beside her she watched as one by one they went up and delivered their own rendition of an improvised commercial.
Some made her laugh, some made her cringe and for some she actually felt sorry but never once did the girl bother to think up anything for her own turn. Studying the items one by one she had a basic construct for most of them in her head but not wanting to box herself in too much, she avoided overthinking it.
Then it was her turn and the new trainee marched up towards the selection, cracking her knuckles and twisting her neck in her over-dramatic mannerism. The moment she was handed a bottle of conditioner, her lips pressed into a line and she nodded once. She got this.
Taking a moment to think she nodded again when she was ready and slipped right into character. With a swift motion she tugged on her hairband, releasing her ponytail and letting her hair fall across her shoulders. Turning towards the camera with a smile on her lips, hair swaying gracefully behind her it was almost as if she did a slow motion there. “Bringing some colour into my life. But not while ruining my hair structure.” Then she holds the bottle up and flips her hair back over her shoulders as she delivers the perfect line. “Prime Conditioner. So my hair doesn’t just look like cotton candy but actually feels like it too!” She finishes her commercial by raising a strand of hair to her lips, holding it there as if she had a mustache. “And it smells like cotton candy too!” Just a tiny additional line for the entertaining factor, a laugh leaving her lips. She puts a hand before her face then to symbolize some form of scene cut and then lowers it to look directly into the camera with a soft smile. “Prime Conditioner. Touch the rainbow.” Extending her hand forward she carefully bobs her index finger against the camera and finishes up with another bright smile. Then she finally handed the bottle back to the staff with a bow and wrapped up her shot.
Returning to her seat she tilts her head, humming beneath her breath. She could have done better but for a first evaluation? Probably not too bad.
