this isn’t really a question but I wanted to tell this to someone who might appreciate it (i didn’t even know the whump community existed but im so glad I found it). Anyway I think the whump community sleeps on Muse (the band) for whumpy music. For example my favorite album of theirs is Drones bc the whole album is about a guy who’s captured by the enemy and brainwashed into becoming a drone/killing machine who obeys all their commands and then (somehow) breaks out of it/escapes and recovers. A solid majority of their songs would make great whump prompts. I don’t think people think about the fact that whumpy music even exists but it does and it’s all Muse lol
