So ... What do you think is going to happen to Shiro in VLD season 2?

Oooh, this is a great question. When I first saw the SDCC leak trailer, I was certain Shiro was going to die. Mostly because of the opening sentence (which I have to mute if I rewatch it because I get super emotional about) and that last scene where he went into a white light.

Thankfully with the officially released trailer, I could get a better grasp of what was going on.

I think he’s going to get recaptured by the Galra. Which I think, for Shiro, is probably a fate worse than death. He might remember some of the things he’s done in the past. I subscribe to Josh Keaton’s headcanon that many of Shiro’s missing memories are repressed– and he faced innocents like Matt Holt during his reign as champion.

I also have a feeling if that is the case, he’s going to find himself with the Holts. And the gang’s going to have to break them out– but they can only manage to escape with Shiro due to timing and/or some random unexpected thing. (Alternatively, consider Pidge landing on the work camp her father was sent to– not sure if Matt’s on the same one. Probably not tbh.)

I have this horrible scene in my head where Shiro has to throw Pidge over his shoulder and tell her he’s sorry over and over again, while she’s crying and screaming for her dad and Matt.

Wha? Is she going to be okay? I hope she calms down. I don't have any experience with pets outside of fish, so I don't have any advice. I'm so sorry. I really hope she'll be okay.

Aw, thank you!!  She’s fine now, we left her alone to calm down for a bit, then Mom came in to lure her out.  She’s just sucking it up so bad now, getting all of us to baby her even more, lol...  It’ll just take her a bit to adjust, but I should have known better to do that much without giving her some catnip or a treat first.

Not QUITE OTP level - like, seriously, I go to sleep thinking about RikuShi STILL - but zomg ZE FLUFF. They just GET each other, and while Roxas and Xion are adorable, too, even Xion lied to Roxas, but Namine refused to, and that’s REALLY important to me. (And they’re especially lovable when you write it, ahem ahem). (And I still owe you a RokuNami.) (Oops.)

Oh, no.  In the order I think of them - which is a pretty decent way to figure out my favorites, actually:

Sora/Riku from Kingdom Hearts.  You can't have one without the other, really.  (Although by that logic I should have Roxas on here, too...)  I'll tag Vanitas and Braig/Xigbar as honorable mentions as my favorite male villains.

Sir Daniel Fortesque from MediEvil.  This soldier of the skeleton war was my first favorite video game character ever, and now that I'm older, his situation is even funnier - poor guy comes off as this brave, awesome warrior and gets killed by the first arrow in his first battle, rofl.

Augustus Waters from The Fault in Our Stars.  Screw you for being the most perfect human being.  Ever.  And for saying your thoughts are scrambled in the most poetic way ever when I can't write coherently, lol.

Martin the Warrior from the Redwall series.  Every now and then I get nostalgic and for that series, and I always read his section of books if I want to get a taste for it again.  I have some problems with Brian Jacques' (R.I.P.) characters (or rather, the lack of variety of them), and while Martin is a perfect example of that stock-character syndrome, damn is he a tragic badass while doing it.

Jak from the Jak and Daxter series.  Speaking of badasses...  Great example of the guy who wants to be seen as a cool guy - and for the most part succeeds and is a cool guy - but is still a noble, heroic guy at heart despite all the terrible things done to him.

Harry Potter from... Harry Potter...  Enough has been said already.
