BILL'S A CAT
ok so i was thinking about cats when it occurred to me that bill is one. seriously, the resemblance is amazing!!!
here's why:
Cats pretend to be cool when something embarrassing happens to them like maybe unceremoniously falling off a windowsill. Bill acts cool even tho it is embarrassing just like in billnyethehunterguy's rp where bill acts cool even in an embarrassing situation with Jack. ye (like putting sunglasses on makes someone less unclothed lmao)
Cats love paying attention to themselves and apparently, hogging attention from people too. Bill cares about being noticed. srsly, he's someone easily forgotten.
Bill may be lazy like a cat. which is adorable.
Bill cares about how he looks just like a cat takes care of how it looks.
Bill's a hunter; cats are hunters. see they're the same
Did I mention he and cats like to act cool?
Sooooooo ye. Bill's definitely a cat
Headcanons: Peko Pekoyama
Some of these headcanons are derived from canon, extensive character analysis, etc. etc. Roleplaying Peko for a while makes me want to get into her shoes and understand her, so part of what's here is my own personal interpretation and can be debatable. I'm posting this here for future reference, just to have it on hand on this blog. c: I'll most likely add/change some if I ever get the chance.
⇤send ◘ for a [ HEALTH ] headcanon⇥
Endurance and adaptation are things that Peko has always valued— she can sustain difficult conditions without much complaint. Due to her diligence when it comes to training and keeping a very systematic schedule, she is incredibly observant and strong. However, she doesn’t acknowledge sickness and works herself to the point of overexertion quite a lot. Tools aren’t supposed to get sick. If she spends any amount of time in bed, she spends it worrying that Fuyuhiko might be in danger. Therefore, the only way to actually force her to rest in such circumstances is to make sure that he’s in the same room alongside her. If he tries to take care of her— she’ll stubbornly refuse his efforts… but eventually simply give in, deeming him as ‘too kind’. Even if the soup he makes doesn’t exactly taste quite right.
While she works to maintain good health— objectification oftentimes causes her to forget that her body has the same hinderances and vulnerabilities that everyone else has. Even she gets tired, stressed, and overworked. And when she gets sick, she oftentimes feels as though it is her fault. An example of which seen at the party in the first trial; when she has to make usage of the bathroom rather than guarding the storage case, she’s ‘ashamed’ of herself and goes onto think that if she had been there, perhaps she could have prevented Togami’s death. Even Fuyuhiko acknowledges it out loud saying “you shouldn’t worry so much about it”— leading me to believe that he knew that shame was genuine in her. She rarely ever puts her own health first.
⇤send ○ for a [ CHILDHOOD ] headcanon⇥
Peko had very motherly instincts when she was little— while she kept her emotions hidden in order to be the ‘tool’ she had to be; whenever she was around Fuyuhiko and his sister, she would speak gently as she tended to them and tried to keep them out of trouble. She hardened with time— and being pushed away did enough to make her keep her gentleness to herself. She had always yearned to play with dolls, to play with animals— to invest compassion and love into something.
While at times she and Fuyuhiko were distanced— hardships, while frequent, oftentimes brought out the best in both of them. Allowing them to meet each other half way and seek joy in companionship. This came especially whenever his parents attempted to kill each other, or whenever violence broke out within the Kuzuryuu family home. Peko would take his hand and they’d hide under the table in something of an embrace as they waited for the storm above to pass.
When their height difference wasn’t so evident, nor wasn’t much awkwardness between ‘boy/girl’ relations— rare experiences of nightmares would compel Peko to leave her own room and ask to sleep in his instead. Considering she wasn’t quite ‘human’ she was given an uncomfortable, thin mattress to sleep on. His bed was soft and inviting in comparison… That, and she enjoyed the companionship. A lack of ‘soft’ things made her appreciate them that much more. Which, in a way, explains her love for that ‘fluffy feeling’.
⇤send ♥ for a [ HAPPINESS ] headcanon⇥
Considering ‘happy’ experiences are incredibly rare— she appreciates them greatly. It’s a genuine thing to make her smile, as the hardships experienced through her life had caused her to forget how to smile sincerely entirely. It’s likely that if you do something to make Peko smile, she’s not going to forget it. That— and she finds happiness in the smallest of comforts. It’s incredibly rare for her to become excited, or to anticipate good news. She feels happy whenever she sees Fuyuhiko smile, she feels happy when she can protect someone and when she feels as though she’s needed. The words ‘thank you’ and a look of appreciation is something that makes her incredibly happy as well. Just an acknowledgment of her hard work— the feeling that she’s important to someone is incredibly special for her.
If she ever needs to cheer herself up, she’ll find something soft to hold onto whilst looking at pet magazines— visualizing herself surrounded by fluffy little animals that require her companionship. While discovering an animal that can actually tolerate her presence would make her happy beyond imagination— it is something that hasn’t happened quite yet.
It’s also incredibly rare for her to hear compliments. While they fluster and embarrass her beyond imagination, they also serve to make her feel happy and appreciated.
⇤send ␛ for an [ ANGER ] headcanon⇥
Whenever Peko bottles up so much anger that she eventually has to release it— she does so by focusing on action rather than thought. If she tries to think through her problems, she’ll likely only become confused and frustrated with herself. Therefore to quiet her mind, she oftentimes makes use of the dojo when she knows full well that no one else is around. She’ll swing her blade around and cut the training material around her to shreds, focus analytically on her attacks and her footwork to the point of absolute exhaustion. When she’s too tired to be angry anymore, she’ll take a warm bath and then go to the kitchen to make tea or bake something. Engaging herself in hands on activities and physical action always serves to aid her anger.
⇤send ♆ for a [ BODY ] headcanon⇥
Peko is actually incredibly comfortable with her body. As she fixates most of her attention on her figure and making sure she’s fit enough to perform her duties. Her appearance only matters to her and her alone. If she’s happy with her body and with her accomplishments, that’s honestly the only thing that matters to her. What other people think of her appearance doesn’t particularly matter to her, considering the fact that she’s a tool. Something such as outward appearance shouldn’t cause her any concern. If someone calls her ‘ugly’, comments on her eye color or hair color— she’ll typically just shrug it off as no big deal. She’s used to being insulted, it’s nothing new. Feelings? She doesn’t have any feelings, they can’t possibly be hurt. She’s numb to insults and welcomes them as though they’re true.
However, if someone compliments her— that’s a different matter entirely. She isn’t used to compliments at all, accustomed to being given something she deems the “monster treatment” at her threatening appearance. If someone genuinely sees some beauty in her— she’ll appreciate it quite a lot.
⇤send ϡ for a [ MENTAL STATE ] headcanon⇥
It would be impossible to explore what’s going on in Peko’s eyes without going into a blown-out analysis. The gist, of course, is that she sees the world in a different fashion than most. Everyone she passes is a potential enemy to analyze. A threat, someone she might have to kill. Thus she treats everyone with clipped formality to keep herself from becoming close or making friends. She fears attachment more than she fears death. She’s also prone to self deprecation and stubbornness when it comes to defending the people that objectified her through the years. Her icy mask hides a warm heart that even she can’t see. She genuinely believes herself an object that can be replaced. She doesn’t expect that anyone would care if she disappeared. Overall, while she might be healthy in terms of maintaining her body— her mind is an absolute disaster to work through. It would require years to heal and mend the damage done.
⇤send ღ for a [ LOVE/SEXUALITY ] headcanon⇥
Peko is incredibly hard to get through to. While sparing her company, compliments, and the promise of fluffy animals are simple ways to gain her companionship, to actually prove something such as ‘love’ to her goes far beyond that. It goes into mending her mind and allowing her, in turn, to invest genuine care and attention towards said person. It requires patience through her stubbornness and attempting to understand her point of view— rather than yelling at her or shutting her out because of it. She harbors undying love for Fuyuhiko most of all— he always comes first. So for her to care for someone other than him takes even more time. Even as seen in the game, she laughably “friendzones” Hinata so that she can pursue her feelings for Fuyuhiko. While, in some aspects, a relationship between them could be potentially unhealthy— there are ways for them to mend over issues of the past and actually understand each other and move on.
There is potential for her to love someone other than him, of course, with enough time and effort invested. It’s just a long and rocky road to reach Peko’s heart at all and to convince her that she’s needed. However— once you do gain her trust and love, she’s incredibly loyal and affectionate.
Her tendencies towards affection are hair-petting, nuzzling, and soft kisses. c: She’s incredibly sensitive and gentle— but can be surprisingly forward at times as well.
⇤send † for a [ RELIGION ] headcanon⇥
Raised with the mindset of a tool, Peko had very little time for learning much about religion. While she studies it for the sake of schooling, she rarely ever allows her mind to wander towards religion at all. Tools don’t require opinions or beliefs. She already has a set of rules to abide, a purpose to fulfill. To entrust her beliefs anywhere and to reprimand herself for ‘sinning’ as she killed countless people in effort to protect Fuyuhiko would probably drive her insane. She knows that several wars have been fought over religion and prefers to forget about it. That being said, she respects all religions undyingly and doesn’t express any judgement upon anyone for believing in what they do. It’s not that she doesn’t believe in a god, but she cares not to dwell much on it.
⇤send ♠ for a [ PET PEEVE ] headcanon⇥
Arguments that have no meaning and idle chat. Those who pull pranks for the sake of malicious intent always serve to get under her skin— especially those that ridicule Fuyuhiko for his appearance. In fact— “baby-face” being a well-known taboo word around him is most certainly due to the fact that she will intervene. While she’s comfortable with her own appearance and won’t get defensive about it— she knows him well enough to know that such comments really get under his skin. Strength is important to him and she acknowledges that with the utmost amount of respect. Little does she know, though, that stepping in for the sake of his honor and reputation oftentimes serves to embarrass him in the end.
⇤send ◙ for a [ FOOD ] headcanon⇥
Peko dislikes candy— but she absolutely loves to bake sweet, decorated things. It’s something that she can’t pursue due to her obligations— but it’s something that relaxes her and sets her at ease. She’s also surprisingly good at it. Focusing on ingredients, stirring, mixing, timing… They’re all mechanical tasks that she can ease into, one after the other. Due to her precise attention to detail, she really uses it as a way to relieve stress. She doesn’t tend to eat what she makes, though, packaging the sweets she makes and leaving them out for whoever might enjoy it.
She has a healthy diet— if anything, though, she doesn’t eat quite enough at times. She sometimes forgets to eat certain meals. Growing up, she was oftentimes sent to bed without dinner. Because of this— she has a very early routine so that she can at least fit breakfast in. Breakfast, all in all, is the most important meal of the day to her.
➳ Scared
While Peko can readily face other fighters and gangsters armed with guns— she finds herself frightened for the people around her. Anyone is a potential threat, overall, everyone needs to be observed. Anyone who serves threat to Fuyuhiko’s wellbeing automatically serve to scare her. She’s very protective and attached to those she cares about— so usually, seeing someone else being harmed serves to scare her more than anything that could ever happen to her personally. She desires to feel needed and to make those she cares about feel safe. If for some reason, someone she cares for deeply isn’t safe, then that’s really what serves to frighten her. Thus, more than death, she fears attachment.
★ Awed/Impressed
Peko is really confident in her stoic mask— so if anyone is sharp enough to pick up one of her mannerisms, or to see what might be going on in her mind then it really serves to impress her. If someone can tell she’s in a bad mood or upset and call her out on it accurately— she’ll be either endeared or incredibly cautious around that person thereafter. There are subtle little habits that she has for some of her moods that don’t translate on her face— and if someone observes her enough or can catch a rare emotion in her, that’ll really serve to impress her.
☯ Calm
Peko is discontent with her mind. She has to be active— always hitting things, training, sparring, fighting. Even baking things with her hands, petting soft textures. While she might depict some ferocity when she’s training, that’s always when her mind is most at ease. If she needs to calm down— she’ll usually overexert herself training, shower, and then make herself some tea to settle down afterwards.
➳ Scared
Peko is mildly frightened of outgoing people. She doesn’t like to get close or make friends with people she might have to betray or kill later on. And exposing that she might be capable of being ‘friends’ or having ‘feelings’ for someone only goes to prove to herself that she’s just as human as anyone else is. She talks in short, fast sentences and treats everyone around her with formality to shut them out, and locks herself in a bit of a shell.
☺ Happy
Peko is very rarely ever happy— and even when she is, it’s shot down with stubborn denial that she’s clearly not happy because tools aren’t supposed to feel anything. But despite her stubbornness and what she says, she’s happiest in small, peaceful, mundane moments. Sitting quietly at the kitchen table with a cup of tea, sitting out on the porch at night, morning walks to school. She likes to observe little things— she’s so quiet that she catches tiny things that most people don’t catch. Overall, she feels happiest when she feels like her presence is tolerated and when she’s treated like an equal— with generosity. Typical kindnesses are the small things that keep her going.
♬ Excited
Like happiness— for Peko to be excited is incredibly rare. She feels so blank and in a state of equilibrium all the time that it doesn’t translate on her features very well. However, there’s something contageous in the mannerisms of animals that make her excited. If she sees a happy puppy wagging its’ tail, her heart starts to flutter and she’ll feel a sensation of excitement. Peko also gets somewhat excited when she has the opportunity to try something new that she didn’t get the chance to do in her childhood— for instance, if she was ever allowed to go to an amusement park, she’d probably find excitement in that. (Of course, with her luck, she might end up with a stomach ache after going on some of the rides. But that’s okay, because in the end it’s the experience that counts~)
❤ describe how they show affection
Peko’s outwardly very formal and speaks in clipped sentences— but her affinity towards animals exposes the fact that more than anything else she really, really wants to feel needed. She’s the type who’s kind of sensitive in matters of affection, in all honesty, and she’ll be very timid and shy with her movements to begin with because she’ll feel like she doesn’t deserve to be shown affection? However, when she can bring herself to really care for someone, she’s very gentle and soft. She likes closeness, hair petting, smiles, and comfortable silences. She can be a bit awkward sometimes with it— but with the right amount of development she can have a kind of knack for it. She’ll bake sweet things and will offer endless loyalty/protection. If she feels needed or loved, she has a tendency to get attached and protective.
♥ - What does ‘love’ mean to them?
For Peko, the timing of asking about ‘love’ is what’s most important. Say, to ask her when she’s under the genuine believability that she’s a tool? Then words like ‘love’ have no meanings to tools, don’t even bother. Love is a word that describes a feeling, tools are incapable of feeling anything at all. So why should it matter to her? Especially for someone who suffered through a childhood feeling unloved by her “guardian” figures and the like. However, if you were to catch her in her post-coma state, after having endured the trials of Chapter Two, she would probably have a different answer. Love, for Peko, is something to be afraid of. More than death, she fears attachment. She fears abandonment, feeling as though she’s unneeded and unappreciated.
Her cause is one that she’s willing to sacrifice herself for. Her resolve is almost unbreakable. And yet Enoshima coaxed her into despair somehow, didn’t she? I think that’s because underneath, Peko is just as sensitive as any other teenage girl is. If Fuyuhiko can kill his sister’s murderer all on his own, then that just sets it in stone that he doesn’t require her there by his side— right? While it’s a frustrating misconception, I honestly think that love is the very thing that brought Peko into despair. She’s vulnerable to feelings of the sort and she’s very much afraid of them— she harbors so much love and protection towards those that she cares about.
♠ - What are they afraid of?
Tools fear nothing. That’s an emotion question too. I covered attachment before, the prospect of growing close to other people and accepting them as comrades and equals. So I’ll go into the next best thing— which is ‘crowded places’. Growing to be an assassin, she always has to observe her surroundings for potential threats. While she herself may not make very many enemies— have you ever paid attention to Fuyuhiko’s behavior early on the island? Always yelling at people, saying he ‘won’t hesitate to kill anyone’ and putting a big target on his own back? He gets into verbal arguments and offends others constantly— thus Peko must always feel like she has to be on alert for his sake, to watch for his enemies rather than her own. She measures up her comrades more so by their strength and physique rather than their personality. She even goes as far as to contemplate what might happen if two of them teamed up against her.
♦ - What is one thing about them that they are most proud of?
While Peko is selfless and isn’t the sort to brag over ‘titles’ that come with her progressions with her blade— she does hold a high amount of pride over her unbreakable, professional demeanor when it comes to her resolve. She has her life goal set in stone. So she’s going to do the best damn job she can at it. While this obsessive perfectionism might have been something that she was forced into through psychological abuse— it’s still something she can count on. She’s very respectful and professional and can hold her head high when her beliefs are questioned. In fact, she’ll verbally debate and stubbornly stick to her cause, no matter how hard someone might try to convince her otherwise. Her resolve is her life’s purpose and she’s intent on holding onto it until the bitter end.
♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing? (About them, others, things in general)
Peko has the worst luck in the sense where trouble in the form of comedy trails her by the heels. For instance— Hanamura so easily exposing the underwear that she wore upon first coming to the island, her stomach trouble in the party, being mistaken for a fighting cosplayer and chased down by weird men with cameras. She’s the most serious, stone-faced sort of person— and yet situations of extreme oddity never seem to leave her alone. I imagine that she goes through humorous misadventures quite often— travel sickness, people teasing her or insisting on attempting to try and become her friend. Basically, the tinest troubles of mundane life sometimes serve to catch her off guard. She doesn’t look to make any friends— so if anyone’s persistent or exaggeratedly open with her it’ll really serve to embarrass her. Compliments are also something that serves to embarrass her in the way where she’s not used to the praise and literally cannot function when someone actually does have something good to say about her.
★ - Do they prefer daytime or nighttime and why?
As a little girl, Peko really really loved stargazing. She liked that the way the sky would look, packed up with stars. However, after a while, she grew to hate nighttime simply due to the fact that that was usually when bad things occurred. Drunken arguments, criminals using nightfall to take advantage, break ins, kidnapping attempts, scoldings and danger in general. The life in a yakuza household certainly isn’t the simplest of things. So while she does find qualities that she admires about the night, it also accompanies some grim memories. Therefore she prefers the day, when the master is out on business and she spent her time in the dojo. She liked walking to the dojo and observing stray kittens and puppies— and the way that she could hear the birds chirping when she woke up in the mornings. Before Fuyuhiko insisted that they keep their relations separate, they used to walk to school together/ride to school together on some occasions. And while sometimes their encounters were prickly, any peaceful time that she could share with him was something that she could appreciate. And naturally— there’s less that can be hiding in the daytime. No darkness or shadows for anyone to launch a surprise attack from. So she serves to feel more at ease underneath the sun.
☾- Are they prone to nightmares or dreamless sleep?
For Peko, they occur in cycles. Some nights are better than others. After she made her first kill and began to register some of the horrifying things standing in her path— she had relentless, constant nightmares. Night after night she would have to stuff her face into her pillow to keep from making any sounds. Because if she ever reacted in repulsion to killing people, she was normally taken out and lectured or berated— tools cannot feel fear, tools just do what they are told. Human life has no value to a simple tool. So she learned to hide that she was having any and through the years, she hardened over. Dreamless sleep hit her though her first few months at Hope’s Peak when Fuyuhiko had no clear usage of her and she wasn’t faced with the usual everyday hardships as she lived her life in the school. It was all peaceful until the young miss’s death— which then spurred despair and further nightmares from then on out. However, she’s very skillful at hiding whether or not these nightmares bother her. They tend to come vividly in the form of childhood memories and the first kill she ever made. And, of course, post-coma they almost always revolve around slashing through Fuyuhiko’s eye.
☼ - Something that/Someone who makes them happy.
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. Whilst this could be explained in a long, drawn out analysis, I’ll keep it kind of short for the sake of how long this thing already is. While Peko is being forced into her position as his tool, and while she’s being forced to give her life in exchange for his— she’s always been a happily willing participant. While the qualifications of her job sometimes upset her (she takes no joy in killing— nor is she opposed to making friends with other people) she is more than willing to protect Fuyuhiko because he was probably the only person who managed to offer her respect in her household. While his parents might have called her ‘the tool’, treated her as an object, berated and stomped on her— it’s plainly evident that he was probably the only person to accept her as an equal— calling her by her first name and staying by her side. While he may not be the best at exposing his thoughts through words, and while he did push her away for quite a while (unbeknownst to her, for her own sake) she still sensed a kindness in him and devotedly stuck to her purpose. I imagine that at the end of the day, that’s all she was holding onto. If her life’s purpose relied on protecting one person— she’s at least glad that it’s someone she’s known her whole life, someone she’s grown to care and love unconditionally. While rare, the few moments of peace or happiness that she ever received were spent with him. Seeing him smile automatically makes her happy. If he’s safe, if there’s reason for him to be smiling at something— then that’s all she needs.
☁ - If they’re caught out in the rain how do they react?
It’d take a lot for Peko to react to anything at all. If it starts raining, she’ll simply look up at the sky and inwardly scold herself for being as foolish as not to check the weather forecast or bring an umbrella. If it’s a downpour, she’ll likely just be rational and find some place for shelter— or endure it if her destination is important enough. She’s suffered through worse than rain, so it doesn’t have much of an effect on her.
♪ - Are they musically inclined?
No, Peko’s never really had the opportunity to work with instruments before. Music is naturally food for the soul and it takes lots of time and practice to learn. Like baking and some of her other small hobbies— anything extra would have to be pushed aside for the sake of her training. Swordplay is the most important thing, thus she never really had any time to learn much about music. She does have a taste for very traditional music and modern koto, however, and can bring herself to appreciate the way that music can calm her down after a difficult day.
♫ - What kind of music do they enjoy?
She really enjoys anything that’s incredibly traditional, folk music, modern koto. Instrumental pieces always serve to make her feel at ease, especially if she’s allowed to listen to some while she’s training. She also has some peaceful memories of encountering street performers on walks through town. And she also really adores Sayaka Maizono’s work. Pop music, anything with upbeat or bubbly beats really tickle her fancy. Same with super heroine themes and soundtracks. While it’s unexpected of her, these tastes are kept firmly behind closed doors, the world unable to know a thing of them. It’s a bit of a guilty pleasure, overall.
✓ - How do they react to praise?
Peko never expects praise. She never had a mother to tell her that she was “pretty” or someone to encourage her whenever she felt like a failure (with the exception of Fuyuhiko occasionally— though his way of wording things isn’t always best conveyed through words or praise) so she gets incredibly flustered. Her face goes bright red, she stammers, and she kind of shies away from the topic as soon as she can. Especially if she knows its’ genuine or truthful praise— it’ll really endear her and she won’t exactly know how to react. Little words of praise are things that tend to make her feel happy, whenever she does look back on them, no matter how small.
✕ - How do they handle rejection?
Like the above, Peko’s very used to being considered the lowest on the food chain in her household. She’s expendable and if she can’t fulfill her purpose and fulfill it right— then she’s trash, liable to be thrown to the streets. Therefore if she isn’t picked first for something or if someone puts her down, she simply expects it and moves on— no problem. However— if she were to be shut out by Fuyuhiko, or if he was ever to reject an offer for her help, it’s something that’d serve to set an ache in her chest. If she comes to care or love the company of anyone— all she wants is to feel needed and to be near someone that she cares for. So if any of her friends reject an offer to spend time around her than it serves to hurt her feelings. She’s a bit more sensitive than she looks at a glance.
☺ - Do they prefer sour or sweet treats?
Peko absolutely loathes candy— so automatically, she prefers sour tastes. Sweet tastes really don’t sit well on her tongue and tend to give her stomach aches. She gets sick easily if she eats too many sweets and it serves to make her feel ill if she has to train directly afterwards. However, she does like to bake the occasional sweet treat— never for herself to eat, but more so just to enjoy the experience of baking something. Occasionally she’ll make karinto for Kuzuryuu.
❄ - Favorite season and why?
Spring! The weather is simple endure— never too hot nor never too cold. And the animals come back from hibernation and she’s more likely to catch a glimpse of birds playfully chirping on their tree branches. She also really adores the scenery, cherry blossoms and flying pink petals always serve to set her at ease. Overall, it’s just a very peaceful time of year to her. No matter how bad things get, looking out at that pretty scenery tends to remind her that there are a few nice things out there in the world, if she just takes a second or two of her time to observe them.
☮ - Do they have an idol or someone they look up to?
Not particularly. She did have her sensei as an example, overall. He was always stern and cruel with her, never giving her leverage or breathing room. Rain or shine, healthy or unhealthy, she was always stuck in the dojo with him for hours on end training to better herself in any way possible so that she’d be able to be utilized to her full potential. His strength was one she modeled her own after— but she hardly saw him in any idolizing light.
❤ - Do they have a love interest?
I’ll leave this one to your interpretation. ;P
✖ - Who is someone they just cannot stand?
Peko is very much indifferent to most everyone that she meets. She rarely finds herself combatting her opinions with others, so long as they don’t question or challenge her cause. In general terms, she cannot stand anyone who argues with Fuyuhiko or calls him ‘baby face’. It’s infamously taboo, perhaps, because she’s especially ruthless when taking down those sorts of people. While it would be natural for Peko to dislike her sensei or her master, she’s grown accustomed to living by their rules and adapting to their treatments that she can endure it. While they’re painful to be around, she never treats them with hatred or resentment.
♔ - Do they value loyalty?
She doesn’t expect it— but if she is treated with loyalty, then it serves to cast a very positive impression upon her. Perhaps, that’s the only way to set a really positive impression with her. If anyone offers her kindness or stays true to their word, that’s something that she values respectably. And of course, she holds herself under expectations associated with that very trait. Loyalty is one of her highest values— devotion in that amount, to her, would be touching. While I’m sure she would have preferred that he didn’t run into her execution and gotten in the way of her blade— I’m sure that there was a part of Peko that was undeniably touched and shocked that he was go as far as to try and follow her to her death. That must’ve been something to finalize that his words— needing her— were true.
♕ - Do they trust easily?
No, she’s mistrustful of everything that she meets. She’s quite an actress and will most likely treat everyone with an equal amount of indifference. However, on the inside, she’s constantly searching for foul intent and notions of danger in her peers. She can’t make friends with anyone— in fact, she’s frightened to get too close. Either for the fact that her purpose may be revealed or for the fact that she might have to erase a peer that she could potentially grow close to.
