(Even tho most of the +18 themes that are listed is basically exclusive with my husband’s characters. Unlikely most of people that are against lore bending/breaking I like those characters cause the person put effort on them)

So I'm very very very new to rp on tumblr but I did rp elsewhere so can you give me the basics of what to do and how people usually rp? It will really help me out thanks.

Right, well it depends what type of roleplayer you are as everyone has a preference. While people do roleplay on Tumblr, there are many different styles. I know roleplaying in say the Glee fandom is different to roleplaying in Teen Wolf fandom or just roleplaying as an OC in a group or as an indie player. I can’t say for sure on everything as i’ve not roleplayed elsewhere. Just know some of those facts.

Below are the ones I think you should know. If anyone thinks there should be other styles of roleplaying added, please get in touch.

In general, I’m pretty open as far as RP goes, though more intimate themes (romantic or otherwise) are reserved for people I know well. My only hard line is abuse/torture and while I may allow those things to happen to my character if it fits their story, there will be a fade to black and those scenes will not be played out.

No its just a spam. Like not cutting posts.

((Alright.  So in other words it's just "You're not doing it the way I'd like."  Fair enough, you're entitled to those feels.  However, comparing it to spam...  

I'm sorry, but no, it's not.  It's a different style and, as specified, one that I consider more informative and more practical.  IE:  Again, it serves a purpose.  This should be obvious, even:  Not cutting posts is the result of laziness, where as what I'm doing is obviously intentional.  I also contest comparing a practice that adds roughly 20 extra characters total to a practice that takes several seconds to scroll through per post, so, yeah...))  

((Anyway, like I said earlier, I'm not exactly about to change my ways based on just one complaint, but if enough others come out of the woodwork and give me a heads up, then I might consider...  

... Perhaps not so much changing my methods, but:  As immature as it might sound, I might consider leaving Tumblr and getting out of everyone's hair, more than anything else.  I've learned the hard way that I really DO NOT like using "chat" style, so the probability I'd resume using that is slim to none XD.))
