i hope you're well!! i am still absolutely checking for fic updates. something about the subtle characterization in "crooked ways" has really captured me-- i seriously haven't been this invested in reading character drama since i read black sun for the first time a few years ago. dragon ball is our only fandom in common, but i might have to read your other stuff anyway to get my fix!!

I primarily follow you for your amazing fic writing, it is truly a joy to read, but also I love the LOTR content. A one stop shop.

Well you already know I love your fics, but, more specifically, I love the way you skilfully weave plot, characters that stay true to themselves (but of course with growth that's appropriate to your story), and your imagination (!!!) into one cohesive fan fic. You make it look so easy, because they all just flow.

Which season do you prefer, and why?

1. Not to be That Person but literally a few weeks ago I got into a screaming match with a teenager about whether Sauron was an elf. I was, and remain, correct - he is not an elf. LOTR was my first fandom and I still have waaaay too much information and and too many opinions rattling around in my poor shriveled brain and sometimes I have...outbursts. It's a chronic condition I'm afraid.

2. Has anyone told you you're too nice today? No? Let me. YOU'RE TOO NICE. People and readers like you keep me going on here 🥺🥺

3. Winter. I like having a reason not to leave my house 💓 Was that too anti-social of an answer? Okay - I like warm fireplaces and thick socks and fuzzy blankets and hot chocolate and watching it snow. Everything is so muffled and quiet and it's just PEACE.

So I have some thoughts after the most recent chapter you posted

1. THEY GOT MARRIED FINALLY 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️💒

2. They got married on a holy day👀 does this get brought up again?

3. The way they call each other husband and wife 😩💓💞 I am so happy for them

4. I love this laid back wedding reception and how the family sees them (except for Rhys 😡🤺)

5. The smut is always perfection and the way he took out all of her pins and was gentle with her🥺 it’s so soft

Now onto some questions 🧐:

1. Does Lucien know what’s happening? Was informed about the wedding and/or pregnancy?

2. Is it time for war or the breaking of the bond 🔗💥🔗

Yes they did get married on a holy, auspicious day - it seems like a fae thing to do, to me! And it does get brought up again...after all, there are 9 days of Dymas, a specifically DUSK ritual holiday, three sisters x three brothers etc etc....math. Nine. Right? My math checks out? My gosh.

I absolutely adore your elriel fic a Court of Dusk and Shadows!!! I was wondering what elriel fics you would recommend?

I love the way your combine angst and fluff and plot. The chemistry you create between Elain and Azriel is just *chef’s kiss* and I’m on freaking pins and needles waiting for what happens next?

Some other questions are: what’s your favorite thing about elriel? And what is your favorite aspect about elriel when you write?

1. Okay, so if there's a joint decision to kick me out of the Elriels in shame after this...I understand and accept it. I haven't read any Elriel fic 🙈😭 I don't know if I deserve a defense but here it is: I've always been more of a writer than a reader (I only get through a couple books a year), and after writing my ACOTAR fics I started on some original manuscripts and my head has been there ever since 😔

2. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT???? Earthquakes, curses, blood and bone. All the good stuff 💓

3. Oooh! Okay, what I really love about Elain and Azriel (how I see/write them) is how they complement each other to become their best selves. Elain slows Azriel down, Azriel's support adds strength to Elain. I loooove the contrasts (bold vs shy, ruined vs innocent) and similarities (quiet, stubborn, thoughtful) that they share, it makes for a really sweet, deep connection. Couples that bring out the best in each other are my VIBE.
