rp horror story: one time in the rp i was in, someone reblogged a bunch of magic anons. initially it was fun, until the rper of my char's s/o got a magic anon saying that she was pregnant, specifying that my character was the father. i didn't know how to respond at the time, and i just kind of left it be and didn't really acknowledge it.. the group died out not long after that, but i'm still confused about it to this day.. and i'm 99.9% sure the rper sent that magic anon to themself for drama..
omg. ngl i would totally do the same thing you did because that just seems like a very awkward situation and kind of god-modish? but how wild.

Just about every other minute he questioned why he was in Gilneas. It rained nearly all the time. There was no sun to speak of. Wolf men. Dead folk. A lot of spooky houses with nobody in them besides awkward paintings. He reflected that his decision making skills were generally poor. None the less he had to be sport. Well...he didn't -have- to, but he told himself that.
The house smelled of animals. It was an old smell though. A few months at the least since one was present. It was a nice place considering the gloomy atmosphere outside of it. But he wasn't there to appraise. You see, he was looking for clues. Lucky had a mighty powerful noise and he kept a particular scent ever since the day he came across the certain person. It had brought him to a few places. An old barn in Tirisfal, some spots in Silverpine, and more strongly in this Gilnean house.
When it came to items though, there wasn't a whole lot to look at. Chairs. Table. All of the trunks and shelves had been emptied up. Whomever had last lived there had dipped some while back. It left a bit of a husk of what could be a cozy home. He let Lucky sniff about and mark his territory while he shuffled about.
Well this is fruitless.
'Why am I doing this' came first and foremost in his head while he plopped down. Leeta was frankly doing her own thing. He was under the impression she had left the Corner for good, yet just the other night she was there. It scared him more and more with the realization that her and Rav were probably going to be a permanent thing unless one or the other did something stupid.
So he was going on a bit of a suicide mission.
The woman had made it clear that bad things would happened if he kept up his business. However she failed to take into account that he was a stubborn thing and that making poor decisions was second nature. He sort of considered it his send off to the world. Solve one mystery, maybe connect a family before getting stabbed in the stomach.
I sincerely hate myself sometimes.
Palms rubbed at his face and he grumbled before something caught his eyes. A burnt slip of paper with some writing on it. He had to peer at the elegant script to figure it out. There was a stamp on it, something akin to what the Row folk tote about.
im in this rp right now and this girl we had was fucking wild. her character was such a mary sue and she refused to cut her posts, and she would butt in to others' conversations and it was just a nightmare. the admins sent her a message one day to warn her and she just deleted xD it was so funny
there was this one harry styles fc that my character dated and he was a very nice character while my character was a pretty big bitch. the only reason they dated bc she was at a vulnerable time in her life and he helped her, but then i realized that she wouldn't date someone like that bc she's very rude and it's not like her to date someone like that. so when i had her break up with him, the roleplay got so upset with me and doesn'tr eally speak to me anymore. but i explained why and everything
this one time i was in a rehab rp for teens idek and the admin kicked you out if you didnt agree with her plots and it got to the point where none of her plots worked out and she deleted the main all of a sudden and posted a video of herself crying it was a hot fucking mess
By the time he was headed for the Mother's home it had darkened even more in the City of Sin. The lamps played shadows against the ground and for once the streets felt alive again. It only lasted for a moment. When you looked around and saw the droning of Arcane 'Guardians' and the usual rank and file soldiers the illusion of 'living' in the City faded quickly. That didn't mean his job wasn't on schedule.
The Home was like most belonging to the Magistry. Large and furnished to ridiculous extents. Ever since the kidnapping though the place seemed drab by Elven standards. Fountains weren't running and only a few brooms prowled the walkways. The Mother had provided a key so he had skipped out on knocking and let himself in. With a clink and a creak the wooden door backed with metal swung open to the inner workings of the building. It had a rather lifeless appeal to it. A few scarce painting and one silk expanse by the door, but otherwise nothing besides candles and the necessities. Magic kept the candles burning, but there was no doubt about the lack of potential residents. A ghost host of he saw any.
Luckily for him the steps were marble, no queer creaking. A finger ran along the brass and he found there was no dust to be had. Very Elven, but he found the home to be strange. There was no...Sin'dorei charm. Mana crystals, color schemes, not even the typical Elven propaganda and kodo shit the military spewed. There was no doubt this was an Elf's house, but not a Sin'dorei's. With a scribble in his notebook he made his way to the main goal, the daughter's room.
When he stepped through the archway it was too apparent how strict the living condition was....well, were. Like the rest of the home the room found itself devoid of life other than Hanth. With the grace of an overlooked home invade he prodded delicately around the space, checking counters and drawers. The girl couldn't be older than a few decades judging by the clothes. A teenager by Elven standards maybe. With how normal everything seemed he knew the disappearance likely didn't happen at home.
His rump found the bed and he brain stormed potential leads. With a casual glance he looked out the window...
And saw a man on the property. Clothed regularly enough, high class by the Row's standards but drab by any other Elf's. Looks like a lead.
This happened a while ago but I feel like documenting the story. I was in an rp group and I decided to be a demon that was actually a twisted fucking monster instead of the romanticized demons being all goody goody like everyone else. They let me play a deal making demon because it sounded interesting to break up the trend of demons with morals, despite the fact that I WARNED them that I can get too clever for my own good when playing sinister characters.
This was their first mistake.
He found a demon and angel who had forbidden love and started talking innocently and charismatically, not even hinting at a deal, but once he made a nice first impression he subtly brought up the idea of what if their relationship lasted? A spawn of demon and angel would be an abomination to heaven, hell, and earth.
So he made them an offer. He said that he was in a generous mood and that he could make a deal where he would "ensure the child is not considered an abomination", and that there was no direct payment from them as "the payment is included in the bundle". These people had not run into someone playing a sinister deal making demon, so they thought nothing of it and stupidly agreed to a deal, with only a verbal contract, and the terms incredibly vague. That was their second mistake.
Third mistake? Oh, this one even I was surprised by, because when he held out his hand with a cut on his palm to seal the deal with a blood pact, he held out his right hand to the demon, and left to the angel, and they shook his hands at the same time instead of one at a time, with the right hand. When you shake this deal making demons left hand, it brands you as collateral. Once the deal was struck he gave an evil laugh and explaind the terms they agreed to.
He would ensure that their future child wouldn't be an unholy mix of course, but he didn't mention that this would be by extracting the infants angelic grace, rendering them a half demon who would eventually run into its human half's corruptibility. That's the "payment" for the deal. And if they try to get out of the deal by not having a child, or even if they just break up, come two decades if there isn't a child, he will find the angel who shook the left hand because by shaking hte left hand he accepted being the security deposit.
In short, if they have a child, the demon gets a bit of angellic grace and the child will probably go insane. If they don't, he gets to rip the holy energy from the fully grown angel and drag him down to earth.
Moral of the story: I can be a clever bastard so if I ever RP a demon who tries to make a deal with you you better read the damn fine print.
