Handmade collage comic strip circa 1957, signed “Jim,” on an off-white 14.5 x 4 sheet. Comic features clipped cartoon characters, many of which are military or royalty, affixed to the sheet, with speech bubbles written by Morrison beside each one. From left to right, the words read: “Arrest this queen…H=80(2)H…Whee!…I’ll make him eat shit…This is the day I put Drano in all the drains…We use Kotex…What can I do for these big tits?…Why Don’t you fight me you bastard…Onward ever forward men. Hurry, Hubba Hubba…Pant puff…Let’s stop at the next gas station…We gotta crap.” Nicely float-mounted and framed in a shadowbox to an overall size of 20 x 9. In fine condition. Very rare Challenger flown LRSI Tile
Available to US bidders only. Very rare Challenger-flown LRSI (High-temperature Reusable Surface Insulation) tile, 6 x 6.5, #V070-394044-137, Serial No. 008651. Accompanied by its Flown Hardware tag, filled in by a technician, “Orbiter No. 099, STS Number 17,” (referring to its 17th processing flow), dated October 26, 1984. These tiles would cover the upper wing near the leading edge. They are were used in selected areas of the forward, mid, and aft fuselage, vertical tail, and the OMS/RCS pods. These tiles protect areas where reentry temperatures are above 1,200° F. A similar tile recently sold in our auction for nearly $3,000. RR Auction COA.

Confederate general (1821–1904) who distinguished himself at Bull Run, Fredericksburg, and Chickamauga. Ink signature, “Your mt. obt. servt., James Longstreet, Brig. Gen.,” on an off-white 3.5 x 1.25 slip clipped from a letter. The very tip of the descending stroke of the first letter in his signature clipped off, and light show-through from writing to reverse, otherwise fine condition. Series 1969 D one dollar bill, signed vertically on the portrait side in blue ballpoint by Armstrong. In very good condition, with moderate show-through staining from adhesive to reverse (primarily affecting borders; signature unaffected). Consignor notes that the autograph was obtained at the Houston Convention Center in 1969.
