Good afternoon friends! Another later post as my sleep schedule is currently a mess haha. I stayed up late Tuesday night to watch a Twitch stream that was the end of Night in the Woods. And my body has not recovered lol! ⚜️ Today’s Reading Rush challenge is to post a photo where a book matches its background. And it just so happened that I had this photo sitting in my camera roll just waiting to be posted! I finished “The Seine: The River That Made Paris” over the weekend after slowly reading it through June. ⚜️ I was a really big fan of this book! I’ve mentioned a few times that one of my life goals is to visit France. So I read a lot about the country and what’s important to the citizens so I can be informed when I one day do visit the country! And there’s nothing that defines France quite like the major river, the Seine. ⚜️ I learned so much about different parts of the country reading this loving history of the river from Elaine Sciolino. But I felt like I learned the most about Paris and how it’s changed over the centuries. I could see the city and it’s changes in my minds eye and all the different people who have loved and explored the Seines banks. ⚜️ If you like history, travel, or France I would highly recommend this book! It made me add even more destinations to my dream France trip list when I do get there. ⚜️ #rrbackground #readingrush #thereadingrush #readingrush2020 #thereadingrush2020 https://www.instagram.com/p/CDAEpFygDEP/?igshid=1b5cxcvnrt4q0
