A Happy Belated Birthday to our lovely DM! Red Roses by the Crypt has been a successful 5e Homebrew that's been running for going on three years now. [[MORE]] I wasn't quite as happy with the other art I did of her as I knew I could be and I do adore Irina, so I wanted to try again. I focused much more on getting her face right, a proper 'over-the-shoulder' look since I do adore them and forced myself to be looser and messier with my lines than usual for the sake of maintaining more life in the art instead of over rendering it. I'm much happier with this result & I enjoyed painting detailed roses this time around. As I was struggling with the hand I had a very brief moment of wondering if I was actually an AI program in the disguise of a flesh vessel and if I ever knew how to draw hands in the first place. Referenced my own quite a bit & did a few quick studies to shake off the rust and managed to get it in the long run though. Phew.

Completely self indulgent smooch between Felix x Pars I did to try and cheer myself up before my dad passed. Unfortunately, my muse and motivation are currently zero, so I'm struggling to do much atm.

Etch belongs to @raise-the-colors 💜

Pretty sunset themed "Tiefling" from our Red Roses by the Crypt 5e D&D campaign. Etch & Parsley have made fast friends from adventuring together so long and, although Etch has clearly been cursed by some god to occasionally be reverted/trapped in a sword form from time to time, it was just revealed that Etch is actually a Changeling, so I did another version of her to show that off under the cut! A crop/close up is under there as well and a little bonus. ;)

Was super fun working with shimmery/sheer fabrics and gradients galore! I also now have a full body I can continually dress up as Etch gets outfit changes in our game huehuehue.

nooot sure if I'll ever take it beyond this point, buuut I really enjoyed the scene between these two when Parsley was adamantly *not* gonna let Dorian bargain with Asmodeus to save her dad's already trapped soul.

I wanted to experiment a little more with lighting (these two were in a tower made of ice at this point) and texturing to make things look soft/snow covered and chilly. Was considering doing my black & white shades on everything to sort of fill it out, but I realized I didn't like it taking away from the rest of the piece and found myself getting fatigued rather quickly in general. Was a fun learning experience still though.

Been playing too much Baldur's Gate 3 lately so I had to stretch the artists muscles with some RRbtC art 💛

Looking forward to some sheer/shimmery fabrics on this one!

Slowed & reverb'd versions of this song started getting recommended to me via Spotify recently and I couldn't get it out of my head so I put it down on (digital) paper to share. I originally thought to put a rainy/cloudy window behind them but that was after I drew the stump and realized that would mean they'd be outside in said rain instead of indoors... My brain isn't always very good at thinking through the scenes I get in my head sometimes okay
