TLDR: Corin (above) was fighting his parents to the death. They saw him as a lesser-than being because his race has two "tiers". The higher has wings that are made of fire and the lower has wings that are flesh and blood. They see Corin as an abomination that is less than dirt and as the parents were on the side of the BBEG, had absolutely no issues killing their son. He defeated his mother first, at which his father went on a tirade about how she was so much better than he could ever be, leading to the above.

Used a scene from our last D&D session to play around with Clip Studio Paint's features. Not 100% satisfied or sure what techniques I'll use moving forward but it was an interesting experiment!
nooot sure if I'll ever take it beyond this point, buuut I really enjoyed the scene between these two when Parsley was adamantly *not* gonna let Dorian bargain with Asmodeus to save her dad's already trapped soul.

I wanted to experiment a little more with lighting (these two were in a tower made of ice at this point) and texturing to make things look soft/snow covered and chilly. Was considering doing my black & white shades on everything to sort of fill it out, but I realized I didn't like it taking away from the rest of the piece and found myself getting fatigued rather quickly in general. Was a fun learning experience still though.

Lys’s journey with the Circle of Fate has plenty of cinematic moments to choose from, but I’ve only had the chance to doodle a few The first is @.Porzio_art’s character Red dragging Lys / Rayna out of a dangerous situation despite her distrust 🔥 The second is the first time Lys revealed her true form to Fley ( @kurocyou ‘s character). Fley was the first person she was truly able to trust in a long time ❤️
