Hello December! 🎄✨❄ This cute little photo was taken in a pine tree farm at home in Hungary; there are plenty of them everywhere as setting a real tree for Christmas is still a great tradition. I loved it so much as a child, loved discovering the pine tree left outside by the 'angels' for us on the 23rd of December, to then carefully take it inside together and decorate it in the afternoon of the 24th. I loved the smell it left all around the house, of wild and free northern forests, where bears and wolves live.. I didn't realize that thousands or millions of trees are cut every year to then be thrown into the rubbish when Christmas ends..now I know it and I feel so sorry for all those beautiful trees - and can't imagine how anyone can cut them out after growing and caring for them sometimes for more than 10 long years..Traditions might change in the future; I happily realized that pine farms has started to sell little trees in buckets too, a lovely alternative, as they can easily be planted outside once Christmas ended.
