Recommendation

I'm really vibing with the Postmugglism podcast. Nathan has a brilliant way of delivering detailed and complex info in a very approachable way. I found episode 11 to contain valuable medicine. No solutions, but ways of thinking to avoid the problems in the first place.

Read Self Published/Indie Published Month Event Sign-up Form (2018)

Thank you for your interest in this year's Read Self Published/Indie Published Month! Please fill out this form so that we have a way of contacting you about the events. Last year we had a great turn out and we are striving to make this year even better. We have made some structural changes this year based on some of the feedback we got from you all last year so make sure to read all emails that you get from us. If this is your first year with us, WELCOME! Read Self Published/Indie Published Month is the entire month of April. You can read a little about RSP month HERE: https://zachchop.com/read-self-published-month/ Some Housekeeping (IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ): - This year we are charging a $5 fee for every author participating. This is a FLAT FEE and will get you into as many events as you want. The reason we are doing this is because last year was so big that I needed to expand my team of people to help me in creating and running the event. I'd really like to be able to pay those amazing people for their time and dedication. This money also goes to marketing the event which will be done through Facebook ads and paid bloggers. The more we market, the more readers come and the more books YOU SELL. This is the reason you are asked for your PayPal email. All information will be kept confidential. - ALL AUTHORS are REQUIRED to help with the advertising. If every author brings in even just 10 readers, we could have hundreds of hungry eyes looking at your books. This can be as simple as sharing the event page on your blog, social media pages and newsletter. It only takes a few minutes and can really help increase our turnout. - Once the Facebook event page has been created, you will be REQUIRED to invite at least 10 people to the event. However, you are welcome to invite as many people as you want. Remember, the more people who show up, the more readers will be there to see YOUR BOOKS! -This year we will be putting out 3 boxed sets: Fantasy, Paranormal and Romance. There are a limited number of open spots in these boxed sets and they will be done through INVITATION ONLY. Authors who are returning from last year will have first pick and once the spots are filled it will be closed. These boxed sets are not for profit as the proceeds for each one will go to a charity (charity to be determined by the authors). They are an opportunity to gain exposure and build a reader base. The books included in the boxed set can be previously published or a new work, but if they are part of a series, they need to be the first book in the series. There will be an extra fee for participating authors that will go to cover, formatting and marketing.
